New York, NY | (Hospitality / Residential Design) Designer (with Principal) for a ground up, 211 key hotel - Renaissance Marriott, NYC (Harlem); expected opening date -2019. Develop and produce material for different phases of a project: * Concept/Design Narrative, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and selections of FF&E and artwork. Provide efficient space planning solutions to public and private areas for a hotel. Attend several client meetings for the Renaissance hotel project (ownership and brand) at headquarters and main office locations. Correspond with design consultants, ownership and brand project managers. Communicate and meet directly with vendors and consultants in relation to the design development of specific projects. Collaborate on the design concept and material with art/carpet/lighting consultants resulting to client/brand recognition and approval.
