Residential in Strovolos, Nicosia
A contemporary residential project at Nicosia for a young family with a lot of requirements that needed to meet regarding the design, layout, landscape, materials and colours.
A challenging project that required to establish a modern type of house with singularity in every side. Connecting and using past influences led to strengthen the conceptual approach of this residential project.
Simple form, volume and layout, yet combined successfully and generated a meaningful architectural proposal. The interaior will be open, neat and minimal. The outside - landscaping, lawns and decks - is appreciated from the interior, by creating openable spaces and at the same time to flood the interior with light.
PAPA ARCHITECTS
Residential in Parissinos, Nicosia
A prominent corner sited house, where the rooms are configured for the specialized interests of family members, yet each offers comfort and access to the internal garden.
The concept is based around how and where the views are revealed, and how the building maintains its privacy. Despite that the site does not have views out, the proposal creates views in, and starting to build a concept based on internal views. Key spaces take advantage of the views to the indoor garden and utilitarian areas are set aside.
Further consideration has been taken into interior comfort, convenient access and privacy, and the relationship between each space.

Walk The Line - Artist Hide and Retreat
Architecture needs to propose to make history perceptible by reinforcing the remains in a way that raises history in a visual manner. It is a research on the relationship of nature and human and the human impact on nature. It is a chance to get away from the urbanization of the city and connect with nature, by living, working and educating in the forest. The artists community’s settlements allows innovating new forms that bring architecture through a sequence of processes that imitate nature’s physical functioning systems.

Manufacture and Sculpture - Foundry
Based on the desire to bring manufacture and making back to the City of Cambridge - influenced by Anthony Caro, an engineer and a sculptor - the project proposes a metal foundry. The design is composed of a simple plan with an atrium allowing for ventilation and light, integrating architecture, sculpture, exhibition space, manufacturing and assembling into one.
