01 SIDAPLAX / KERK GENT [GENTBRUGGE / Belgium] The project will create a new neighborhood park. It also forms part of the broader green structure plan (Cotton Island, Keizerspark, Arbedpark, Gentbrugse Meersen, ...) And important link. It’s important that the park is Sufficiently visible and accessible from the wider area, so that it will not only work for the new build Homes, but also for the existing environment.
02 Graveyard uitzicht [Kortrijk / Belgium] Working further on the beautiful existing architecture of Souto de Moura Arquitectos & SumProject. I wanted to design something that would be different than other typical graveyards, a place were you can go for a walk and clear your mind after visiting those you have lost. A big part of the design is to incorporate the concrete of the buildings with enough green so it doesn’t feel too cold but still have that touch. The long path to the end of the site exists from different shaped concrete panels with big gaps were plants can grow. This makes the journey you take through the park more interesting. After this long path you arrive at a big pond with an amazing view. With minimal human interference, creating a place were you can relax and clear your mind, enjoy the environment and the view.

douterloigne [Anzegem / Belgium] Douterloigne was a concrete factory so the site was all concrete. But now it has to make way for a new industrial area, including a park for the existing population. The key words in this design were ; biodiversity, water infiltration, durability.

Pti Kortrijk [Kortrijk / Belgium] This small garden was designed as a last test to get my gardening and agriculture highschool degree. It was designed and built by myself, I wanted to create a comfy and cozy garden. But it still had to be simple enough to build in only 7 days.
