URBAN COMMUNITY CENTER Public Library, Art Gallery & Amphitheater - Jakarta, Indonesia Academic Work - Final Project September - October 2017 Individual Project

Most public spaces in Jakarta still have a low quality of legibility, it is difďŹ cult to bring social awareness in the community to know the existence of a decent public open space. Low legibility ultimately lowers the value of a public space in terms of function to physical. Public space is now an important element in the progress and change of Jakarta, the process of public space development such as RPTRA which continues to be proclaimed a good vision in put forward construction of decent public spaces so that urban communities in Jakarta become a society that continues to grow because of good space he lives. (Developing People Through Space) Site is located on Tanjung Barat Street, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. The site is directly opposite the two primary roads and the Tanjung Barat Commuter Line train station. Site selection is based on areas that still lack public space and dense population, South Jakarta area becomes and site position close to access to central Jakarta (Central Jakarta), then access also close to the area around Depok and Bogor.

Urban Community Center is the center of urban society activities consisting of the function of Art Gallery, Public Library, and Amphitheater are integrated as a public space that is packed in a unity of complexity. The Urban Community Center's conception derives from the problem of limited public space and the low involvement of art and education in the society in Jakarta. The attractive and democratic demands to be achieved derive from the low value of the legibility and undemocratic public spaces in Jakarta in form, access and space. For that achievement of Visual Appearence through time, landscape, and scoping into goals that want to be realized lifted through the approachment of contemporary architecture. Some of the urban issues that are the background of this public space project in Jakarta. They are Lack of public space itself in Jakarta, Urban Stress and Lack of Happiness Index, Lack of Ar t and Education Engagement, also Apathetic and Individualistic Lifestyle in Jakarta.

Urban Community Center / Micro Concept

Accentuate Open Space Implementation as Focal Point Emphasizing open space, open space as a communal space (collaborative space) for the community as a central point or focal point on the site as a whole. The emphasis of open space as the main concept becomes a privileged area that connects access and functionality. The main circulation is placed in the front of the area to facilitate the site connection, then the building line boundaries are placed farther from the border line building standard to get the interval farther from the Commuter Line rail location.

Comprehensive Place Making Space Experience Urban Community Center produces a lot of space that can be achieved and used, the unity of the landscape with the achievement and experience of an attractive and different spaces, the user can reach the spot from the ground floor to rooftop openly and thoroughly. Providing a comprehensive space generates a new space experience and space will try to become a medium for the user (community) to grow.

Unifying Mass, Landscape, and Peoplescape Urban Community Center becomes one unity between time, landscape, and society as user subject. Mass forms the formative nature of the form that integrates with the site environment ie open spaces (Landscape), these two main components can be reached, reached and used by society simultaneously through a combination of both into an attractive and democratic, democratic entity by and for the community (Peoplescape).

Identical Contemporary Facade The facade uses contemporary material that is often used for many functions, the repetitive coupled composite deck material (lattice) creates an attractive imagination so that the facade appears as an identical element attached to the building. The identity of this facade is installed thoroughly and becomes a unity of visual nuances created in the building. This material is easy in maintenance and execution.

THE FRESH ONE Apartment - Batam, Indonesia 3rd Place of Lustrum VII 35th UAJY Highrise Building Design Competition October 2016 Completed in collaboration with Alfian Rombe, Rifky Muhammad, and Ade Setiawan

Batam becomes an attractive trade and marine tourism center and nature in Riau Islands Province. In addition, the region is close to Singapore and Malaysia to be a factor of rapid economic development so that Batam became an attraction for investors and stakeholders. The development of an increasingly advanced economy also triggered the growth of population in Batam so that the impact on the higher occupancy needs as well. Apartment occupancy as a vertical dwelling becomes the choice of the present as a residential function for people who have high mobility or tentatively settled in Batam. Present Issues. Ÿ Ÿ Ÿ Ÿ

The challenge is how to design to start on the 3rd floor where the existing already available 2 floors that functioned for the hotel. Floors 3 and 4 are required to be devoted to the parking function while the lobby or foyer apartment starts on the 5th floor. The Apartment is designed with 2 towers. The first tower consists of 18 floors and the second tower consists of 20 floors. Each tower has a sky terrace as horizontal void and central green community interaction space. The concept of building brings sustainable design and communal space as the main solution in solving the present issues that occur in most typical apartment buildings.

MASEUHAN TANEUH Thematic Water Retention Park + Urban Farming - Bandung, Indonesia Finalist of Parahyangan Design Competition (PARADESC) 2016 May 2016 Completed in collaboration with Rifky Muhammad, Ade Setiawan, and Yulius Duta

Maseuhan Taneuh / Introduction

The background of this project are two social problems that are the lack of happiness index and consumptive lifestyle in society. An indicator of the psychological aspects of society that can be a reference is the happiness index. Inadequate and unsuitable public space is one of the important reasons for the decline in the index of community happiness (Urban Stress). The paradigm of a developing society is where there is a lack of willingness and responsibility to own, maintain, and build public space as a means of social interaction within the city. "The definition of a good city is if the people want to leave the house voluntarily." (Ridwan Kamil)

Then the consumptive lifestyle of society is a bad impact affecting the culture and development of urban society. Consumptive lifestyles can be formed from available public spaces. Urban parks through free and active spaces are expected to be activity generators which can shape changes to consumptive behavior and lifestyles to be productive. Maseuhan Taneuh in Sundanese means irrigating the soil as an identity depicting a water thematic garden that becomes activity generator for Bandung society.

Maseuhan Taneuh / Massing Process

SITE ENVELOPE Site is an existing former pool garden located in Ciumbuleuit, Bandung with an area of 5835.8 m2.

DEFINING SETBACK AND PEDESTRIAN Determining the site (path) and pedestrian circulation so that the site is easily connected because it is surrounded by open access openness from outside.

FINDING CIRCULATION INSIDE SITE Circulation is formed by following the plot of the trees that are maintained on the existing. (Contextual adjustment with the site)

CREATE MAIN LANDSCAPE + PATHWAY (DIFFERENT LEVEL AND MINIMAL INTERVENTION)

Landscape arrangement and pathway circulation within the park with different elevation level games (Terraces) to minimize site intervention. (Optimization of view and interaction within the park)

ADD WATER ELEMENTS

ADD GREEN ELEMENTS

(RETENTION + THEMATIC ATTRACTION)

(URBAN FARMING)

Water as the main thematic element in the park not only for retention areas but recreational areas with attractions and visual functions that enhance the attractiveness of the community. Water is also a shade and conditioning element of the microclimate through evaporative freshness.

Green application as an important element of green open space arranged with different landscape elevation as well as the addition of urban farming function in an effort to change people's lifestyles to be productive by gardening together.

AS ACTIVITY GENERATOR Maseuhan Taneuh is expected not only to be a city park but can be an activity generator that develops the community in Bandung. (Developing people through space)

OPTIMALIZATION VIEW, INTERACTION, AND CRIME PREVENTION Shape of terraces (different level of application) like the concept of terraces provide optimization of access and visual between elevations, improve the legibility of all space, then the openness and borderless of space (transparent) carried on the design makes it easy for the community in preventing the occurrence of crime and vandalism in the park.

URBAN FARMING ACTIVITIES Collective farming activities in the community, green land is transformed into an active space where people have a garden that can be harvested independently. Urban farming is expected to change the lifestyle of consumptive society to be productive. Farming activities improve ecological, educational and economic aspects, as well as sustainable concepts for a long period of time.

Eco-Black Box / Introduction

The background of this project is that there are some major problems that we think are important thoughts of poor sanitary and toilet in public space in Indonesia, namely lack of visibility and legibility, limited budget and monotonous paradigm, and unhumanistic and not feasible design.

Eco-Black Box / Introduction

04

ECO-BLACK BOX Public Space Toilet Building Big 9 of Public Space Toilet Building Design Competition 2017 by IAI and American Standard Indonesia June 2017 Completed in collaboration with Rifky Muhammad, Ade Setiawan, and Yulius Duta

The problem that often happens in public toilets now is the level of visibility and legibility of the building. Visuals from public toilets buildings are now too monotonous, difďŹ cult to reach and less able to attract people to use them. Visual built should be able to attract people to want to use it comfortably and the sense of ownership will arise resulting in good interaction and context to the environment. The paradigm for the construction of a bad toilet also can not be separated from the emphasis of the cost given for the design of a toilet. The paradigm with a limited cost always provides an implementation of the design of the toilet is monotonous, plain, and narrowed spaces, so that the function of the toilet to be impressed dismissed. Increasing other space needs leads to a decrease in awareness of the toilet space itself, the need for toilet space is often ignored so that there are still many wake-up areas and toilet components that are not humanist and do not meet the standards. appropriateness. Needs of toilets should be able to meet the needs of public facilities in the public space widely and evenly. For that reason, the low cost and ease of execution of toilet constructions, including adaptable and portable, have become an important role in implementing clean, but not visual and monotonous toilet building expectations.

Eco-Black Box / Building Concept

ZONING PROGRAM.

PERMEABLE ACCESS.

INTERACTIVE FACADE.

CREATE INTEGRATED ZONES: Zoning program in the toilet building puts the ease of indication of the axis of entry of circulation to every space within the building. Each zone of space functions are integrated so as to facilitate the user.

CONNECTING AMONG THE SPACES: Circulation is given through 3 accesses that are briefly interconnected between space and other access so as to facilitate the user when entering, ramp jug is given as a marker of level increase on ground.

ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHIC DESIGN ON FACADE: The distinguishing facade becomes the visibility and legibility confirmation of the toilet building, the facade provides interactive and communicative effects through the large 'toilet' sign on each side of the wall.

WATER TANK FACADE.

RAINWATER HARVESTING.

UTILITIES DISGUISE ON FACADE: Space for water tanks or reservoirs and water pumps are hidden through wooden lattice facades provided otherwise it adds a visual attraction to the toilet building so that it becomes visually accessible.

WATER CULTIVATION IN RAINY: For the sustainable implementation of energy efficiency, rainwater is collected back into alternative water sources to be reprocessed as a function of rinse in toilets (flush WC and urinal).

CONTEXTUAL, CONTEMPORARY, & RESPONSIVE.

The resulting toilet design refers to contextual, contemporary, and responsive aspects through forms and materials to the environment and current issues that occur in the public sphere as a whole.

Junction Signature / Introduction

VISIBILITY ENHANCEMENT The design can be a signature to raise the visibility of a function of underground parking buildings where now community was having problem that is lack of social awareness of a public space in the urban. The iconic design will make it easier to attract people to ďŹ nd out the existence of an underground parking function where it will be a new open public space to increase community interaction and collaboration. The design also inserting local typical shade from Toraja culture 'Neq Limbongan' as a shape in open space area as a form of identity and locality of Makassar.

INSERT LOCAL IDENTITY Toraja people believe that this name is taken from the name of their ancestor Limbongan which is estimated to live in 3000 years ago. While Neq means "lake". In the sense of Toraja people, Limbongan means the source of the springs that never dry to become a source of life. Therefore, the style of this size is interpreted that the fortune will come from the four quarters like a spring united in the lake and give happiness.

JUNCTION SIGNATURE Urban Parking Park - Makassar, Indonesia 2nd Place of Parking Park Building Design Competition 2017 by Ministry of Public Works and City Government of Makassar December 2017 Completed in collaboration with AlďŹ an Rombe

Makassar as one of the big cities in Indonesia is moving towards the best city vision in the future, one of the problems that is present is the increasing quantity of vehicles due to the density of the population in Makassar so that in this competition we are required to design an underground parking building directly integrated with open space above it as a new public park in the city of Makassar. In context, Makassar is famous as one of the big cities in Indonesia which is directly adjacent to the sea therefore Makassar adheres to the maritime city because it is not separated from the elements of Indonesian oceans, especially there are ports and piers that be catalysts of economic growth there. Makassar is also not separated from the culture of Bugis, especially the traditional house with the peculiarities of the roof and the shape of the stage. The vision of the growing city of Makassar to the metropolitan city rivals the capital city of Jakarta due to the increasingly crowded population growth. The growth of the city demands an increasingly crowded trafďŹ c growth in Makassar and one indication is the need for parking spaces in the middle of Makassar. Makassar is also not separated from the culture of Bugis, especially the traditional house with the peculiarities of the roof and the shape of the stage. The core of the concept of design is to appoint the contexts in Makassar city in general context to be implemented into the design.

Junction Signature / Strategy Concept

SITE BOUNDARIES & ORIENTATION.

DEFINING PARKING ENTRANCE & EXIT.

The scope of the site is located at Jalan Slamet Riyadi with an area of 1608 m2 which is at the corner of the intersection, the main site orientation is pointing to the axis angle to the sea then access of entrance and exit from the site is determined through the direction of the current 3 roads that surround it.

Make an explicit building for the gate entrance and exit parking in the basement because the main function is 3 basement floors in the ground. Emphasis building is a design-visibility catalyst to make it easier for users to log in and out on site.

TYPICAL PARKING LAYOUT.

BUILDING & LANDSCAPE IMPLEMENTATION.

After providing emphatic building for parking access, then set the parking layout in the basement 1st to 3rd floor into the ground as the main function. Additional supporting functions are vertical access such as elevators and stairs and receiver buildings (foyer) as the main building on the design.

Implementation of building mass and landscape form on the design, axis of vehicle circulation forming pattern for pool form, position of main building (recipient building), and open space area (park) arranged with dynamic pattern and various elevation. Recipient building will use the column located in the pond, giving the impression of the stage (Bugis Traditional House) in the middle of the waters (Makassar).

SIGNATURE IMPLEMENTATION. Implementation of the signature as a characteristic identity is to insert local identias associated with vista site and Toraja typical shade on open space. Foyer Building was explicit to shaped towering and firm as Bugis roof for the purpose of visibility of the building to become an iconic design in the middle of Makassar.

TIGARASA Residential - Tangerang, Indonesia Competition Entry of Sinarmas Land Young Architect Competition 2017 November 2017 Completed in collaboration with Rifky Muhammad and Ade Setiawan

In this competition we challenged to design a high-end residential project consisting of 3 types of house divided into 2 cluster segments on a designated site. This project takes site location in BSD, Serpong, Tangerang, Indonesia which is one of the city project owned by renowned developer Sinarmas Land with promising prospect in Indonesia. The 3 types of houses each consist of 8x15 m2, 10x20 m2, 2 and 12x25 m types. Our design concept is titled Tigarasa. Tigarasa became the tagline of the design concept as well as being the marketing concept for this residential project. Tigarasa in Indonesian has the intent of 3 flavors that analogize 3 different themes that become the concept of each type of house. Each type of house has its own uniqueness from the visual aspect that is through the main material for the facade or skin of each home building. 3 different facade materials representing each different building impression on this residential project. In addition to the visual experience provided also apply a different space experience through 3 aspects of green (green area), water (pond), also daylight and wind (openings and voids) to create a good space permeability and productive climate space to improve user’s comfortable.

VISUAL ENHANCEMENT By setting different context themes on each home, it provides an attracting power and increases the visibility value of a home and this is manifested through different facade materials in each type of house. IDENTICAL FACADE By distinguishing the theme of the facade material on each type of house gives its own identity for each type of house and gives its own interest but still contextual between visual appearance of each type of house. CONTEMPORARY APPROACHMENT The materials used are contemporary materials that are the right choice for houses with modern tropical style and high-end residential type. The material chosen is material that is honest, light, easy to executed and finished also aesthetically.

Tigarasa / Introduction

Tigarasa / Concept

CREATE PRODUCTIVE SPATICAL CLIMATE The three element contexts provide a comfortable space for the physical, visual, and psychological aspects. REGENERATE THE TAKPALA Guest House + Gallery - Alor, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia Competition Entry of Architecture Grand Festival 2016 July 2016 Completed in collaboration with Rifky Muhammad, Ade Setiawan, and Michael Theodore

The conclusion we have done is to elevate the architectural locality of Takpala Traditional House into a contemporary, responsive, and contextual guest house and gallery function as a temporary stopover to Takpala Village, Alor, East Nusa Tenggara. The village of Takpala is an Abui traditional settlement located in West Lembur Village, Northwest Alor sub-district, Alor district, East Nusa Tenggara where it has grown into a village enjoyed by tourists and is a factor of increasing tourism in Alor. Takpala village is now an icon and important cultural center in Alor in addition to natural attractions and baharinya. Know more about Abui's life as the tourist attraction of Alor. Moko heritage objects as a symbol of social status, Lego-Lego dance and traditional Songket dress become characteristic of Abui people who become culture and art inseparable from Takpala.

Laying the Indonesian traditional architecture as the identity of the nation is imperative, but also do not 'narrow' the understanding of the Indonesian architecture as a reimage of the past architecture, or the repetition of mere romanticism. The Indonesian traditional architecture is laid out as a responsive thinking to the unique / unique real conditions occurring in Indonesia. The place context, which also concerns sociocultural issues, as well as current issues, are important factors in Indonesian traditional architecture. The conclusion of the idea raised is how to create a new vernacular design in this context is a guest house and gallery with the application of 3 main aspects of design, contemporary, responsive, and contextual objectives so that these three things become the reference to how the design can be formed. In this case the subject of the design is the cultural and collector as the gallery owner and guest house where the gallery presents a collection of works by artists.

Mesang & Mesbah

Traditional House consists of 3 kinds, a pair of traditional houses Kolwat and Kanurwat and Fala. The three types of houses stand side by side forming a pattern around Mesang and Mesbah as central centers. Kolwat house is a hall for a party / traditional ceremony and may be entered by anyone without exception while the Kanurwat House is sacred and can only be entered by certain people and serves to keep the heirlooms of Abui. GRIYA BESAJA Residential - Yogyakarta, Indonesia Competition Entry of Rumah Sehat Sederhana Berbasis Nilai Lokal Design Competition by Ministry of Public of Works and Housing Indonesia November 2016 Completed in collaboration with AlďŹ an Rombe and Virya Dharma

Current marginal society housing in Indonesia tends to put forward only economic aspects with monotonous and pragmatic forms, thus presenting typical results of both price and shape that reduce the meaning of the home and will affect the comfort of its inhabitants both physically and psychologically. In addition, housing now also ignores local territory locality so that there is no identity that characterizes the local value of the residential area. This competition challenges how to design a simple healthy house worthy of marginal society in Indonesia without forgetting the local value of the area of the house is located as a contextual aspect. This project is titled Griya Besaja (Javanese language) which means simple house, describes the simplicity of the locality of a house as a comfortable and compact living space for its inhabitants.

The location of this project was taken at Ledhok Timoho village area, Yogyakarta. Ledhok Timoho village is located on the banks of Gajahwong River, Yogyakarta City. The village that was formed 15 years ago was attended due to the need for shelter of street children and evictees. Currently Ledhok Timoho village is inhabited by 55 heads of families with an individual number of about 170 people with the majority of scavengers, street singers and other poor people. The productivity power of the majority of scavengers and the work of recycling garbage into handicrafts makes Ledhok Timoho known as the village of garbage craftsmen. The pictures below show the situation and condition of Ledhok Timoho village which is the site of this project.

LEMPUYANGAN SEQUENCE Urban Market + Housing Corridor - Yogyakarta, Indonesia Big 15 of Sepekan Arsitektur Portia 2017 April 2017 Completed in collaboration with Rifky Muhammad and Ade Setiawan

“How if market and housing will be merged to solve urban problems in Lempuyangan Street, Yogyakarta? Lempuyangan, Yogyakar ta is closely related to its Train Station which is in front of Lempuyangan Street. Lempuyangan Railway Station becomes a crowded access area as it becomes the transition of travel center through rail mode apart from Tugu Yogyakarta Station. In addition, the existence of the station is close to the location of Lempuyangan Market but is not well connected by Lempuyangan Street. The large number of wild kiosk and vendor vendors on the road has caused congestion and loss of pedestrian, thus bringing prolonged social problems. The strategy is combining market functions to replace street vendors and wild kiosks as well as new homes and the addition of parking spaces into elongated buildings along Lempuyangan is like a corridor in a sequence.

ARYAN MARTA Shelter Concept - Fictional Site 3rd Place of Architecture Fair (AFAIR) i-Shelter Design Competition 2016 January 2016 Completed in collaboration with Dian Gloria and Alvin Praditya

This competition challenges how to design a shelter space with a specified fictitious site. Shelter room designed 3x3 m with the user situation amounted to 3 people and can only carry 8 kinds of goods that have been determined. The shelter material is derived from the site. The conclusion is how to create shelter that can make the user to survive without the help of others and new environment. This project was named Aryan Marta (in Sanskrit, meaning: oven of life). A small active world (aryan) for the life (marta) of human beings who crave life in harmony with the conservation of the natural surroundings and feel the happiness of gathering together. Aryan Marta defines a shelter that can shelter a common life in an environment where resources are limited but still contextual to the natural environment itself. The concept of Aryan Marta comes from the analogy thinking process of the Abraham Maslow, Human Needs Theory. In the theory of Hierarchy of Needs shows personality can reach the top rank when these primary needs are much interacted with each other, and with self-actualization one will be able to utilize its potential factors perfectly. The fact that humans must strive for survival can not be separated from the role of nature in providing resources, to meet the basic needs (hierarchy of needs) of human beings.

Aryan Marta / Introduction

The process (survival-naturesensible) is analogous to the shape of the shelter architecture through a triangular form which is the embodiment of the basic human needs hierarchy and the container form which is the embodiment of the shelter's own meaning of accommodating the need for shelter and security. In each shelter is a manifestation of the ďŹ ve levels of human needs. The principle of traditional architectural design that houses the stage was applied to the design as a design response to the existing. Triangle is a stable form and suitable to be applied to the existing condition.

The Habitat / Introduction

This project is a mixed use of residential and commercial typology which then selected the function of vertical housing and social market as the answer of the background problem of this project, that is the problem of increasing occupancy requirement in Yogyakarta and requirement of supporting function which can support the need of the occupancy is commercial function . Today's life with high mobility so that everything should be easy and the two functions are like a decent mode of integration for today's life in Yogyakarta. The concept of zoning space arrangement from this project is through The Tringular Shape Concept. The triangle is considered to be the most balanced form with the composition through three pedestals centered on a central. The collection of triangular shapes for the identity of the landscape form of the plaza on the site by the substraction or cut of the various axes, analogies that a public space can be integrated and accessed from anywhere and anyone. The conception of a container is expressed on a triangle as its identity. Containers that become a complex that is analogized as a new Habitat for the community in which it embodies life in broad context ie activity (occupancy), needs (market), and socialization (open space) so as to achieve a decent life through an entirely active space in the hope of change in paradigm (point of view) of life and development in productivity and creativity (Developing People Through Space). The concept of the site form ultimately results in zoning continuity between building times and attractive circulation alignment. Contextual attitude between the landscape form and the building period is a good synergy for the physical and psychological development of the community.

BORDERLESS CONCEPT LIVING LIKE IN HOUSE Spaces are laid out with unlimited concepts (unrestricted), neighbors with neighbors can even meet through a shared garden without going outdoors. The function of the terrace and the garden if it can make residents feel like not in the vertical housing (stacking). Openness to the building also affects lighting and airing more easily into the building, creating a good microclimate in a tower environment.

I’ve been internship program in Mamostudio Architect for 5 months from March to end of July 2017. The office located in Serpong, Tangerang, Indonesia. A very valuable opportunity to work with a team and one of the best architect in Indonesia that I idolized during college, Adi Purnomo as principal of Mamostudio. During the internship, a lot of valuable new experiences and lessons about the world of architecture became my catalyst for growth in work and design.

During my internship, I've been involved greatly in development design phase of Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) Office Building in Lombok, Indonesia. Participated as well as performed and understood concept, development drawings and visualization of other various projects in Mamostudio like Tennis Indoor and Center Court Senayan Renovation project for Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta and other residential projects in Jakarta and Bali.

Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) Office Building Mandalika, Lombok ITDC Building Office is a project commanded by Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation as owner which is an Indonesian state-owned company known for developing, operating, and assist the government against tourism in Indonesia. This building will be the main office for them and this building is in the region with the most promising tourism prospect in Indonesia. This project has been started from the end of 2016. This building brings the concept of the spirit of Lombok locality as the location of the project with the concept of a unique and iconic mass form. The most interesting thing is that building uses the facade of local material that is natural stone typical of Lombok area that is arranged with a certain pattern so as to create a very interesting visual attractions. This project is a project that involves me fully during my internship at Mamostudio until my internship is done.

When I was given the opportunity to help this project with a junior architect on the team, this project has entered the development design phase so I help a lot to work on development drawings from the floor plan, calculating the amount of space needed, superimposing the structure, and create detail section of the important parts of the building, also contribute too for visualization images. The most interesting thing is that I was given the opportunity to create a pattern of stone arrangement on the facade. Through the setup experiment with CorelDraw until it is attempted to be implanted into the building elevation.

In this project, I was involved to help make visualization video and visualization images to be used as a supporting design presentation. The attached visualization images are the visualization images I created with the team during the internship.

Tennis Indoor and Center Court Senayan, Jakarta This project is the renovation project of Tennis Indoor and Center Court Building in Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex Senayan towards the biggest sports event in Asia that is Asian Games 2018 which will be held in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia. This project is implemented simultaneously with other building projects in Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex, which each project is handled by top architect ďŹ rms in Indonesia. For the renovation of the Indoor Tennis itself, changes are made both interior and exterior as a whole. For the exterior changes by the addition of an iconic facade and make it a very attractive building visually so that the main attraction compared with other buildings in Gelora Bung Karno. The facade of the Tennis Indoor uses a half-cylindrical wiremesh steel frame mounted repetitive as the building's skin.

S t u d i o K r i s s e r a s to n a i s a n architectural ďŹ rm founded by Y.D. Krismiyanto who is my work practice guidance lecture. On the internship there I did an alternative design for a Homestay project in Banguntapan, Yogyakarta. This residential project is a uniďŹ ed project with a homestay and kiosk project located within a complex site for a client in Yogyakarta. Homestay is designed for 4 plots lined up like a co-housing in the same complexity. This homestay is designed in a modern contemporary tropical style yet with a contextual stay with other buildings within the same complex as well as the surroundings of the site. The color scheme and the material used are simple materials with the ďŹ nishing of most compatibility with white to give the impression of comfort but still have an attractive visibility value. The rooms of this Homestay is a large living room as a central foyer then with 3 bedrooms along with a courtyard at the back of the lot site. Additional front facades to provide identity and a section of landscape-shaped landscape raised altitude to give the impression of modern home style nowadays.

Maybe only time can answer until when I stand in this realm, whether only for a moment or forever. But whatever it is, architecture not only provides space for me to work, but has become part of me during the process and learn about life. It's just the beginning, it's just an introduction. There are still many interventions that will be present and I must face in my next step. I'm still just in the small scope of the big boundaries out there.
