FEEDBACK This section is for designers who specifically want feedback from members.
Personal Projects - Designers can upload any personal projects outside of school to get comments and feedback from members. New design projects and ideas should be visually laid out for evaluation. School Work - Designers may upload any school projects that are in need of feedback and critque from members. School work can consist of type work, printed work, and photography.
Video formatted work will not be accepted at this time, due to issues with both space online and bandwidth. All materials that are scannable should be scanned. Digital formatted material should be digitally uploaded. Projects regarding size, printed materials, and textures, should be photographed.
INSPIRATION This section is for inspiration. Designers can upload links, videos, and links to personal blogs.
Links - Links to websites, videos, and blogs are welcome. Blogs - Member’s personal blogs are welcome. Links and blogs to profane materials should have a purpose, to serve as inspiration, otherwise it will not be tolerated.
DESIGNER INFO This section is for designer info. Designers can leave their contact information and their bio for other members. Also any personal websites such as blogs.
Contact Information - Information should consist of: Name: First, Last Email Address: personal email, otis email Phone: Cell phone (optional) Facebook / Twitter (optional) A brief bio is optional. May upload resume, or any skills that may be helpful to others.
RESOURCES This section is for resources. Software tutorials and how to guides may be added directly or from an external link. This is where members would come to find resources so if anybody has any access to tools or information, they are free to post it here.
Software Tutorials - Helpful software tutorials are welcome. external sites like PSDtuts.com and Lynda.com are welcome. Suggestions & How To’s - Any suggestions and how to guides are welcome. New methods, experimentations, and workshops should be documented and uploaded with photos. Links are welcome, but personal guides are prefereable. Silk Screening or book structures, any workshops or methods or experimentation with mediums can be posted here. * we should have a guide line for personal tutorials
HELP CORNER This section is for members in need of help. Any topics regarding help can be posted in this section.
School Events - As a friendly reminder, important events and dates should be posted here. Help - People have hard time finding or asking for help. This section should be open to all suggestions. From carpool arrangements to getting the right help for other topics. Maybe a vent area for complaints and suggestions * Complaints / Vent Area: slander agianst members and faculty members at Otis College of Art and Design will not be tolerated. Help and Suggestion regarding illegal activity will also not be tolerated, unless they serve a purpose.
