Mission Statement

The Council and staff are committed to the continuing development of the City of Cranbrook as a successful and progressive community, and to preserving, and further enhancing the high quality of life enjoyed by the citizens.

Council will be responsive to concerns and provide an informed and committed leadership.

A competent, skilled staff of high integrity will use available resources as efficiently as possible, providing high quality services to meet the needs and address the concerns of residents and employers. Council and staff will work cooperatively with the citizens of the City of Cranbrook, organizations within the community, other municipalities and other levels of government in order to achieve the maximum benefit for the community.
