The “Journey of Two”, March 4th, 2023 will be life of Dalton Nichols.

On Saturday, March 4th, the plan is to head to Amicalola Falls State Park for “The Journey of Two”, send off. Dalton loved to hike. Other than his motorcycle and music, hiking was the place where Dalton was most at peace.

His mother Sherri announced “We are so blessed, that Jason Koons, has offered to travel with Dalton's ashes from Springer Mountain, Georgia to Katahdin, Maine.” This will be a journey of 2,190 miles total. “Jason will document his journey with Dalton as he travels.” The anticipation, of Jason not having Internet asscess for some periods of time, is an unfortunate circumstance. However, Sherri hopes for prayer and encouraging words on “The Journey of Two” Facebook Group Page.

The March 4, 2023 Ride Plan posted for anyone, wanting to participate, as follows:

This ride is 68 miles . Approximately 2hrs. We will top off at a half way point. $5.00 entry fee into the park. RSVP if you plan to ride with us. We will need a head count for lunch. We will meet Jason for an introduction and present him with a necklace of Dalton's ashes.

We will say goodbye with prayers and well wishes.

We will leave the state park at approximately 1pm. and stop at a specified destination for lunch and return home.

In the event that Jason is not able to complete his journey he will pass Dalton's ashes off to another hiker to fulfill Dalton's “AT” dream.
