A Reason To Ride ...to Myrtle Beach, S.C.

10 years ago, Kevin Gumina, aka; Crude, started Crude’s Veteran Ride as just a fun ride! He used a website called BON with only 10 riders to get the word out there! As he has done in the past, he decided to raise money for a charity on with the ride. Now in his 10th year, the ride successfully gained over 250 motorcycles from all walks of life and locations across the US. Kevin currently lives in Ohio. And after he has planned this event throughout the winter each year, he is rewarded with his ride down to the Spring Myrtle Beach Rally on his Harley Ultra. Luckily, it’s only 750 miles each way from his home in Ohio! He explains, excitedly that it’s turned into an annual tradition. He has met a lot of great people and many return riders have participated year after year. Some have traveled from a far, just to attend this event. As of 2021, Kevin has decided to host the charity in honor of Homes For Our Troops. If you want to learn more, be sure to check out their website: hfotusa.org. Being transparent, Kevin states: .90 of every dollar raised goes to support this charity; Homes For Hero’s.
