Senior Adventure Club
The College Senior Adventure Club ‘tipped the balance’ on the famous Cantilever, 3,000 feet above sea level, on Glyder Fach, in Snowdonia. 14 Lower Sixth pupils and three staff ventured to Snowdonia for the weekend in the summer of 2019. A 12-hour day high in the mountains included climbing some of the classic ridges and scrambles of Snowdonia, including the North Ridge of Tryfan, Bristly Ridge, and Snowdon itself. Camping in the Ogwen valley, the group also enjoyed a contrasting challenge with gorge scrambling on the second day.
