2022–2023 ANNUAL REPORT
CLASS
OF 1923
CLASS OF 2023
Dear Members of the Church Farm School Community,
It is always a pleasure to greet the wider community and offer some highlights of the past year in this Annual Report, for it shares the good news of our collective efforts and maintains the important connection between the school and its supporters, those wonderful souls like you who keep the school in mind and continual prayer. Your financial support also does much to sustain the important work we intend to accomplish each year. Thank you for your continuing friendship and the many shared blessings offered upon our school!
This past year, we emphasized being “persistent in the pursuit of excellence.” Our daily work is looked after by a caring and devoted group of professionals - men and women on the faculty and staff. They are well-guided and supported by an exceptional team of administrators who remain intent on achieving the goals of our Strategic Plan, all oriented to student success. Judging by the accomplishments of the Class of 2023 and the destinations to which they are headed as undergraduates, we have had an enormously successful year. Their great potential has been tapped, developed and enhanced while pursuing excellence in a variety of areas during their time at Church Farm School. Importantly, these young scholars will add greatly to their new environments as they continue to pursue and fulfill their noble dreams in service to community.
Speaking of excellence, CFS proudly received full accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. This eighteen-month process brought the entire community together and now directs our programmatic efforts for the near future. At the heart of this work is the continuing connection between scholars and their adult mentors as they continue to build their numeric, verbal and social and emotional skills. Scholars are oriented to a senior year Capstone Project reflective of the Profile of a CFS Graduate. Greater professional development and recognition and retention of our professional community are worthy objectives to which we are committed. Additionally, we look to examine and utilize all campus spaces as learning spaces developing the whole person, a young man assuming his greater sense of identity, agency and self-determination. Our core values of respect, responsibility, integrity and brotherhood remain essential aspects of what we look to pursue in personal and community excellence.
Our vision for the future and continuing ability to reach it is strengthened and supported by our Board of Directors, a diverse group of men and women volunteers who are passionate about who we are and what we do while being faithful stewards of our enduring mission. Board Chair Matt Burns and his colleagues have been resolute in improving a legacy of service to those in our communities who rightly deserve the opportunity CFS provides but might not otherwise have access to it.
Together, we offer our heartfelt gratitude to all of you. As I mentioned at the start, your prayers, friendship and financial support constitute that partnership which makes CFS possible. With abiding appreciation,
NED SHERRILL, HEAD OF SCHOOL

LETTER FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL
After 10 years serving on the CFS Board of Directors, I’ll be transitioning off the Board in May 2024 to make way for a new Chair and leadership. Reflecting over my time at CFS, I’ve experienced many positive changes and the evolution of the institution into a top-rate college prep boarding school. Traditions and brotherhood run deep at CFS, formulated over its more than 100 year legacy. Recent years have been a period of exceptional change and adaptation. The evolution is best reflected in the amazing transformation of our students, who build a lifelong bond of brotherhood and are well-prepared for the academic, cultural and life challenges they will face when they attend college and become leaders in their communities. CFS is truly a place that “Unlocks Potential” and “Fulfills Dreams.” I witness this each year at graduation (my favorite time of year!) when we proudly send our seniors off into the world. Here, I am pictured with an exemplary scholar, Luis Triveno ‘23, who intends to study biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University.
I’m proud of the many talented people we draw to CFS to serve in many capacities. It’s been a privilege to work with Ned Sherrill, Head of School and architect of the school’s evolution. Our Board, administrators and faculty are diverse, extremely talented and committed to the mission. To carry on our legacy, we now have four alumni serving on our Board, helping to guide us into the future. The institution is in good hands!
Our Board had a productive year but not without some challenges in the post-pandemic world. We added three new board members to replace three retiring board members. We completed a new athletic track and field and advanced the planning for the South Campus to modernize the residential living experience for students and faculty. Our finance committee addressed our pension plan and successfully transitioned the endowment management to Vanguard. Our spring Board Retreat was dedicated to a DEI workshop that increased our awareness of diverse viewpoints throughout the CFS community.
I’m pleased that the Board unanimously approved Vincent Napoleon to become Vice Chair of the Board. Over the next year, I will work closely with Vince so he can ultimately transition into the Board Chair role. Vince is a long-term board member who is dedicated to the CFS mission. I look forward to a smooth transition and the ideas and energy Vince will bring with his leadership.

Academics at CFS: Then and Now
Academics at Church Farm School have continued to strengthen since the late 1960s, when second Head of School Dr. Charlie Shreiner made it an important focus, seeking accreditation by the Middle States Association, ensuring faculty were accessible to students in both the classroom and the cottages and focusing on curriculum advancements. This work was carried on by third Head of School Terry Shreiner, who implemented the 1-1 student laptop program (CFS was an early adopter of this strategy). Current and fourth Head of School, The Rev. Edmund K. Sherrill II, has leaned on his academic team to ensure today’s Griffins are receiving the best of 21st-century teaching and learning practices. We chatted with longtime history teacher and Dean of Faculty, Eric Fulmer (who joined the community in 2007), about the changes he’s seen and directed, and the academic team’s philosophy toward educating young men.
Eric Fulmer has been at CFS since he graduated with degrees in history and secondary education from King’s College. “I had been on a few interviews for a variety of positions but nothing was very exciting.” Eric says when he interviewed with the late Director of Academics Ken Rodgers and former history chair Brian Keslick, he was struck by “the way that everyone I met on campus spoke of the mission, the boys and the opportunities. Sixteen years later and I still have the passion and zeal for CFS that I did in those early days. It is truly an amazing and transformative place.”
What was the academic focus in the 2000s?
The concept of “21st century skills” was just starting to take shape. We all started considering how we can better develop critical thinking skills in our students and not just worry about how much factual knowledge they could remember. This was a game-changer for the history department as we considered not just what knowledge our students needed to be successful, but what skills they would need to be prepared for college and life beyond. This work was built upon to become the Profile of a CFS Graduate, which directs the entire community’s focus today.
What are some educational trends that didn’t pan out?
I went all in on the trend called “Flipped Classroom” about 10 years ago. Students would watch videos outside of the classroom to give them the content they would need so they could utilize the information more effectively in the classroom. This was a way to do away with lectures during class time and build skills inside the classroom when they had more access to the teacher. I made the content videos myself, designed activities for the classroom and even presented the topic at the AP Conference. Like many trends, it was flashy for a time, leveraged technology and now is just part of everyday classroom practices.

LOOKING BACK, LOOKING AHEAD
What have been some key milestones over the past 20 years?
• When we adopted the new schedule and moved from 45-minute classes meeting every day to 70-minute classes meeting 3 times per week. I really thought this was a game changer for CFS. We committed to a deeper understanding of our topics and more focused time in the classroom to utilize the skills and knowledge learned.
• Our last Middle States Accreditation in 2014 was a pivotal moment for us as we reexamined our curriculum for the 6 C’s (creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, citizenship, character and communication). This had us reexamine the Profile of a CFS Graduate and start to look more at skillbased learning.
• Lastly, I would say our most recent Middle States Accreditation process and the launch of our Curriculum Committee. This committee has really delved deep into all elements of the program. They have visited several different schools to examine their program, rethought the graduation requirements and engaged students as part of the process.
How has having scholars on the curriculum committee benefited the student experience?
The students are the product that every faculty member is helping to shape and guide during their time at CFS so hearing from them about their experience is so important. We have been doing student voice surveys for the last eight years so we can hear from the students about their experiences in the classroom, the cottage and athletics. We take these results very seriously and faculty meet with their chair and discuss goals around addressing student needs. These surveys have provided students a voice in the process and have given us key data into our three key programs. It was only natural that students take part in the Curriculum Committee and help guide our work moving forward. Margaret [van Steenwyk] said from the beginning that it would be important to hear the student voice in the planning process and wanted students to have a seat at the table. She could not have been more right! So many students have wanted to be involved from the very beginning and have contributed so many great insights and ideas into our work already. It is energizing to work side-by-side with them on revamping the curriculum and I am just glad to be a part of it.
What’s the academic focus today?
This is a loaded question and I love talking about this topic, but I will try to keep it brief. I think there are three major areas of focus for CFS: engaging teaching and learning, boy-centered strategies and developing skills for a successful future. We have put a great deal of work into better engaging students, and this has been a major professional development focus. We are thinking about those specific learning outcomes that are important for every scholar to know and how they connect across our curriculum. We spend a lot of time talking about how boys learn, and it starts with relationships. Our teachers really excel at building relationships with their scholars and that is where learning starts. After that trust is created, then boys love to explore tough questions, utilize hands on learning and competition is always a driving force in boys. Lastly, our Curriculum Committee has spent time thinking about the skills every scholar should have upon graduation. Our Profile of a CFS Graduate has some impressive skills that we want all students to be able to demonstrate by the end of their CFS career, but it is up to the teachers to build them into the curriculum. This means that these skills have to be broken down by grade level, scaffolded for students and assessed appropriately so that students can continue to build toward the Profile we set out for them. These three elements working together are what make up the teaching focus for us.
What’s the academic focus for the future?
We are working to better connect the curriculum so that it is aligned horizontally across grade level and vertically to connect the student experience from 9th grade to graduation – all guided by the Profile of a CFS Graduate. We have also committed to more experiential learning and have implemented a senior capstone so that students can demonstrate the skills gained and knowledge learned.

Residential Life at CFS: Then and Now
Church Farm School was founded to provide a stable home for young men who were lacking one; its original students were orphans, sons of single mothers and sons of clergy. Boys came as young as 10 years old (5th grade) to live, learn, work and play alongside others of “ability and promise” who deserved the opportunity to receive a solid education at a fair cost. As such, Church Farm School’s residential program has always been one of our primary benefits. It has also allowed us to welcome students from all over the United States and the world. We continue to ensure our education is financially accessible, and to prepare young men for college through the teaching of critical life skills like time management, cleanliness, camaraderie and our core values of respect, responsibility, integrity and brotherhood. We spoke with a few alumni turned cottage faculty about what our boarding program looks like today.
YONBUE GOODALL-TANCO ’18
Yonbue Goodall-Tanco graduated from CFS just five years ago; besides Covid-19 forcing adjustments to cottage life and Pew Cottage catching fire (and being rebuilt) his senior year, the changes he sees are subtle since he joined the community in 2022. “Students have a lot more room and space to operate. When I was a student, the on-duty schedule for faculty my sophomore-senior year meant cottage faculty were seemingly ever present in the cottage. Now, seeing as I am the cottage faculty, I feel a lot more like a fixed post. Students know where to find me if they need me, and while I frequently do rounds in the cottage or around campus on the weekends, students seem to enjoy having their own space and interacting with me on their own time.”
Yonbue Goodall-Tanco '18 in 2018 and 2023
He adds, “As a more recent graduate, it feels great to give back to the scholars when it comes to life and college advice. I think it gives them the hope and confidence to know that the skills they’re building here will help them later.” One of Yonbue’s favorite parts of cottage life is impromptu, thought-provoking conversations. “It’s eye opening to interact with the scholars at the beginning of the year and then see how far they’ve grown by the end of it.
9 LOOKING BACK, LOOKING AHEAD
Nathan “Nate” Ventura did not graduate from Church Farm School (he returned to public school for his final two years), but the former local boarding student was a welcome addition to our residential life team in 2020. Nate says his time at Church Farm School was marked by brotherhood and mentorship. “By far my favorite event was the progressive dinner. I loved being able to go to the other cottages with my friends and have different foods at each stop.” He also recalls his former cottage parent, Brian Serbin, being his “parent” away from home. “He made the transition to CFS easy and fun! He helped me feel less homesick and come out of my shell.” Nate models his role after his experience with Mr. Serbin. “I look at my job as being a role model. I hope to make the boys' time here go smoothly while giving them space to grow. I want them to feel safe and cared about so that they can focus on schoolwork, sports and hanging out with their friends. I became who I am today because of the support I received from CFS and the opportunities it gave me. I always want to pay that forward."
FROM A 1998 INTERVIEW WITH CHARLES WESLEY SHREINER, JR.
"Originally, our boys were strictly from fatherless homes. To create a balance, we had an all-male faculty, but we wanted all women in the cottages. Then we started to interview a number of young men who were pursuing their master’s degrees and liked the schedule here. They were free in the morning for their classes, but at the same time were making a salary and had a place to live."

Jim Hilburt ’85 and Kai Davis ’26
Jim Hilburt ’85 came to Church Farm School with his younger brother, Jeff ’87, after their mother passed away and there was some discord at home. Jim says it wasn’t an easy transition; growing up in Willow Grove, he wasn’t used to so much noise (he initially lived in Good Shepherd Cottage, one of the dormitories closest to Route 30). Thankfully, the brotherhood and community helped him through. He particularly remembers classmates Byron Hutchinson ’85 (aka “Skeeter”) and his varsity wrestling co-captain, Laird Ferguson ’85, helping him acclimate. After CFS, Jim attended East Stroudsburg University, where his affinity for music grew. He played in a band and received a degree in music, as well as a degree in elementary education.
he is,” Jim says. “I reached out to his family to take a look at Church Farm School – a hidden gem – and they came back ecstatic.” Jim advocating for CFS is nothing new; since his graduation, he has quietly supported numerous fundraising initiatives, volunteered to support the annual CFS Wrestling Invitational and attended many CFS events, including Dinner and a Wrestling Match, the virtual CFS wrestling reunion and Centennial Alumni Weekend, where he and his brother, Jeff, and their band, Groove Street Orchestra, performed. When he’s not teaching, Jim continues to work on his music, with the goal to get back to playing guitar publicly as a solo or duo.
Kai says his relationship with alumnus Mr. Hilburt influenced his decision to come to Church Farm School, and that he was looking for opportunities to connect and set his future up for success. “To be honest, it was very hard at first. Not knowing what the living environment is like or the people you’ll be around was a chilling thought when I first arrived,” Kai said. What was once unknown territory became a welcoming place where Kai was attending classes and sharing free time with his fellow Griffins.
Kai especially enjoys his English and Choir classes. “Ms. Saunders offered a sense of freedom to talk about any subject we were focusing on and Mr. Cepeda brought a sense of humor to Choir that was greatly appreciated.” Kai is also a member of the Maroon Society and participates in cross country.
Another favorite moment of Kai’s is Field Day and College Draft Day. “I look up to a lot of these seniors and it’s so awesome to see their hard work pay off. And then getting to beat them in dodgeball … even better.” Kai hopes to inspire incoming freshmen and help them realize how great CFS can be.
Currently, Jim teaches Algebra I to eighth graders in Philadelphia, preparing them for admission to some of the city’s most selective schools: Masterman, Central, Carver, etc. “It’s our goal to help get these kids into special admit schools,” he says, acknowledging that teaching students with “the aptitude and willingness to work is so refreshing. There’s no classroom management issues; I’m just able to teach and build relationships with these kids.” One of those kids was Kai Davis ’26, who entered Church Farm School as a freshman in 2022-2023.
“Kai’s class was a unique class, they had a lot of fun but were productive at the same time,” Jim recalls, but despite his academic strength, adjustments to Philadelphia School District’s selective admissions policy in 2021 resulted in Kai being forced back into a neighborhood school. “I knew he wouldn’t be surrounded by others as bright and motivated as

GRIFFIN REVIEW 2022
Flow away to the rust-colored skies
Flow away and find the blood-soaked canvas
Freedom was so Apparently hard to find.
While these are both contemporary poems (Amadu’s was published in the 2022 Griffin Review and Ray Greenblatt’s was published in 2020), Ray’s poetry about crows, as mentioned in his interview in the 2020-2021 Griffin Review, was inspired in part by the 46 years he worked as an English teacher at Church Farm School. Ray said, “At present, my spirit animal is the crow. My new book Man in a Crow Suit (Parnilis Media, 2020) is filled with poems about crows, whom I watched and was fascinated by in the fields at CFS for many years.” Amadu says his poetry speaks to a deeper perspective on the “chaotic state” of American society and politics. “I like crows a lot and realized the various meanings associated with them would work well in a poem,” he says.
Grimacing as the hair of a thousand lines
Untwines like the snake on a morning rise. Scales giving a lustrous shine
To no place, for freedom is not confined to the cement and brick, The politics and ticks, the sweet promise of clarity
That just ‘Oh so happened to miss.’ It simply flows away like the wind. Fear is the razor that made us back away. The plague of modern-day, malice drains away
To the ichor-rich skies, from whence freedom, once came. The infamous Crow cries to a shattered moon, hope lies in wait with its famished groom
THE CROW RAY GREENBLATT MAN IN A CROW SUIT, 2020
The eye of crow is a noble shield a pool of multi-worlds a convex observation booth the color of shade, shadow night and secret places, his talons grasp loving things which nourish and are passed on the sheer of dusky wing with miniscule adjustment against wayward winds against all seasons he satirizes contemporary time by perching on a parking meter.
With dreams tossed aside in a mirage of a peace we cannot achieve That borders the end line in my fantasy. Disillusioned with the false flag operation Of a dream of peace for the second generation, That will be a great raze or new day for Our ’Oh so great dream of a Nation.’
Chivalry is dead, and apparently so is honesty
Past philosophy now turned into hatreds incarnate of animosity. All hail the biggest dictators of days. Human Prejudice, and clouded dismay. Malice taunts you, with its sick plays
Only to realize too late freedom is a two-way street
You’re free to show ideals
But so is unsworn hatred, and un-sainted outrages.
Murders are now returning in A flourishing fervor,
To sing a song of misery and shivery, For a Crows Lament is the new song Not of freedom but, Truth.

Class of 2023 Commencement
On Sunday, May 28, the 36 members of our senior class bade farewell to each other, the underclassmen, faculty and staff, coaches, board members and other friends of Church Farm School who shared in jubilant Baccalaureate and Commencement services in their honor. At Baccalaureate, the seniors received their physical blessing from Head of School The Rev. Ned Sherrill, along with the traditional musical blessing by the CFS Choir – "The Lord Bless You and Keep You."
During Commencement, Valedictorian David Alfaro proclaimed, "The path we took was never going to be easy, and we did it knowing that. We knew it meant being responsible and upholding the pillars that lay the foundation for what being a Griffin means. And for some time, I thought it meant sacrificing a part of yourself as a means to an end. Yet thanks to everyone here, the CFS community, the friends I’ve had since middle school, the teachers that believed in me and my loving family, I’m here today excited for the next chapters of our journey." David will be heading to Williams College in the fall.
A number of awards were also bestowed, including the Highest GPA in the senior class to Daniel Eafa (Princeton University), the Earl Wilkins Alumni Scholarship Award to Jake Erdmann (St. Mary’s College), the Athletic Excellence Award to Maryland native Jaden Roberson (Morgan State University), the Wallington Award for Sportsmanship to Kwadwo Onyinah (Syracuse University) and the coveted Headmaster’s Watch Award to senior leader Dylan Jones (Stevenson University).
We are so proud of our Class of 2023, and can’t wait for them to Look Back, Come Back, Give Back!

13 TRADITIONS & CELEBRATIONS
CFS Scholars Return to Prom
A simple plea for upscale apparel for our juniors and seniors attending prom with Linden Hall resulted in some exciting attention and support for Church Farm School. The ask for men’s suits and tuxedos within a local Facebook group caught the attention of Chester County Ramblings, a blog run by Carla Zambelli Mudry, a friend of the school. The next day, not only were items being dropped off in droves to our Griffin Clothes Closet, but Good Day Philadelphia’s Jenn Frederick (Fox 29) was asking what we needed and if she could profile the school. The segment, which aired on April 25, showcased our wonderful young men, their college decisions plus a few surprises – donations of haircuts for all prom attendees by RAZRBAR and Champions
Premier Barbers in West Chester, and donations of rental shoes from Saget’s Formal Wear in Drexel Hill. Additionally, Parkway Cleaners in West Chester helped with complimentary suit alterations, and friend of CFS Dawn Mitchell Designs created beautiful boutonnieres for the boys. Our gratitude extends to these wonderful individuals and organizations, along with many others – including St. David’s Episcopal Church in Radnor.
On April 29, 21 Griffins enjoyed prom with our sister school, Linden Hall, at Rock Lititz (near Lancaster, PA). While the prom was not a first in the history of CFS – our students once attended prom on the Spirit of Philadelphia cruise ship – it was certainly the first in well over a decade, and a much-needed night of fun after a period of social restriction due to Covid-19.

A Track Befitting a Stellar Athletics Program
August 2022 saw the start of our new track construction, a project unanimously supported by the CFS Administration and Board of Directors (and surely our many alumni who ran on the old cinder track). While we had to make some adjustments to our athletic programs this past year –including soccer practices and games at Exton Park – we are so excited to unveil our new all-weather, six-lane track and field this fall, with a dedication set for Saturday, October 21 during Family Weekend (all are welcome).
Our track and field team was particularly accomplished in 2023, with 18 scholar-athletes receiving BAL recognition, our team winning the 2023 District 1-AA Boys Championship, Coach Tom DiSante being named BAL Coach of the Year, Jaden Roberson ’23 being named BAL Male Athlete of the BAL Invitational and numerous athletes advancing to State competition this year. We can’t wait to see what they can do on our new track and field this year!

SCHOOL ENHANCEMENTS
For the second year, CFS hosted a Veteran’s Day CFS Military Zoom Reunion. Two alumni of Church Farm School - Major General Eric G. Weller (USAF-Ret) '74 and Brigadier General (Ret) Cecil Hengeveld ’64 - founded the Military Scholarship Fund of Church Farm School to support scholars with a family member actively or formerly serving in the U.S. military. A stalwart financial supporter of the school – including special events, the Annual Fund and capital campaigns – Julia has brought attention to Church Farm School through her affiliations with Church of the Redeemer and Episcopal Community Services; has served on the school’s Leadership Council; and even served as a volunteer coordinator to greater engage the outside community with the work going on at the school. THE JAMES TATE AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN AMBASSADORSHIP: AMADO ROSENDO ’23
The James Tate Award for Excellence in Ambassadorship - in recognition of longtime alumnus, Jim Tate ’52 - is an annual award presented to a member of the CFS student body who distinguishes himself in the way that he carries himself both on and off campus, among his peers, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and friends. The recipient is recognized as a campus-leader and a role model for the younger students. The recipient of the Tate Award is expected to continue leading – someone who will “look back, come back and give back,” even after he graduates, much like Mr. Tate.
The 2022-2023 James Tate Award recipient, Amado Rosendo ’23, has proven in his four years at the school that sharing the CFS experience with others is his strong suit. Jim Tate ’52 said, “Amado, you are “Mr. Opportunity.” You take advantage of as many opportunities as Church Farm School presents. And while the school offers many, you are able to successfully handle a wide variety of them with confidence and determination: AP courses, Ambassador for both Development and Admissions, restarting the Griffin Review as its Editor-in-Chief, representing the school as a conversational guest at a development luncheon, being a student leader as a prefect and involved in Griffin athletics. Lastly, you are admired by your fellow students as a person who is so giving and willing to help others for nothing in return. You are a leader!”

THE JOSEPH E. RHILE ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
The Joseph E. Rhile, Jr. Endowed Scholarship was created when a large group of dedicated CFS alumni came together to honor Mr. Joseph Rhile, a former CFS faculty member and coach who served the school for 43 years. This student recognition is meant to honor a rising senior and challenge them to uphold the CFS core values and serve the community as an ambassador. Jon Rivera ’24 was named the second Joseph E. Rhile, Jr. Scholar. Jon is an outstanding student and leader in the CFS community. Whether cooking in his Spanish class or reviewing molecular genetics in biology, he is a positive force with a strong work ethic. He is also an emerging leader in the community, serving as a prefect in Disston working with 9th grade students and helping to guide them in their first year at CFS.

NOW & THEN
Our athletics program, at its heart, hasn’t changed significantly. It is still probably one of our scholars’ favorite parts of the CFS experience Since our earliest days, we’ve bid farewell to one of our first sports, football, and added many others, including three seasons of track, lacrosse, baseball, bowling and golf. Our facilities have been significantly enhanced, too.
An aerial photo from a plane in 1936 shows just five cottages on south campus, plus many now bygone farming buildings, replaced by athletic facilities including our Founder’s Pavilion, Gym, tennis courts, track and field and swimming pool!
A 2021 drone photograph showcases our campus modernization project, which included new access roads and parking, an addition to Greystock and the conversion of the former garage into the Buck Family Center for the Arts.
A 2021 drone photograph showcases our campus modernization project, which included new access roads and parking, an addition to Greystock and the conversion of the former garage into the Buck Family Center for the Arts.
Our Wilkins Science and Math Building now houses state-of-the-art equipment for science and math classes, including whiteboard tables for composing formulas and a new STEM Flex Center in the basement for interactive teaching and learning.
The arts have always been integral to a well-rounded education at CFS. While the discipline of painting hasn’t changed much, the facilities in which to create works of art has changed tremendously. Our bright, airy Buck Family Center for the Arts has studios for painting, ceramics, woodworking, choir and band, as well as classrooms, soundproof practice rooms and an exquisite central gallery.
WAYS TO GIVE
There are so many ways to support Church Farm School and its mission of providing a financially accessible education to deserving young men.
VOLUNTEER
We continue to look for ways to involve our friends near and far in the mission of Church Farm School. In addition to official volunteer arms of Church Farm School –the Board of Directors, Alumni Association Executive Council and Parents’ Association – we are always in need of local volunteers to support on-campus events, spread the word about our work and provide us with testimonials.
NETWORK
Our scholars love hands-on experiences; whether hearing about interesting careers during a classroom visit, getting off campus for an internship or just networking with alumni of the school – your wisdom is appreciated!
DONATE
Making a gift to Church Farm School is easy!
Donate online at gocfs.net/give or Donate over the phone at 610.363.5333 or Donate via cash, check or credit card by responding to a mailed appeal.
