In this session, we will look at what it means to know God personally . . . and what we can do to take the next steps to get closer to him.
Opening Discussion If you or any of your group members are meeting for the first time, take a few minutes to introduce yourselves. Next, go around the group and answer the following questions:
• What is the difference between doing a task out of a sense of duty as opposed to doing a task out of a sense of devotion to something or someone?
• Looking back at your notes, what stood out to you in your between-sessions studies that you would like to share with the group?
