OPPORTUNITIES & CONSTRAINS

OPPORTUNITIES • Adjacent to transportation facilities, convenient, large flow of people • Be given a distinctive landscape with memory points • Create layers of green spaces, more opportunity for people to contact with nature • A commercial center with lots of employees, providing a place for certain groups of people

CONSTRAINS • Large gatherings maybe noisy for residents or lead to road congestion • Adjacent to the streets, dense buildings, noisy environment, low quality of life • A variety of groups of people in the future, corresponding public facilities

Chuyao Huang_Assessment 3_Graduating Project

VISION It is a fully utilized public green space that achieves different uses within a limited area and is sustainable. People can recall history and look into the future through visiting the park. It not only meets the needs of future citizens for the park, but also retains the local characteristics of Sydney Olympic Park. It is also an inviting, inclusive and welcoming space for everyone to enter, adding fun and energy to the community. The park provides an opportunity to contact with nature for urban residents who live in a concrete hard landscape. Here, they can relieve the pressure of life and recover their mental and physical strength by relaxing and enjoying the scenery nearby.
