Canada: the land of opportunity “We are proud to promote Canada as having the best higher education system in the world and, equally, as the real “land of opportunity” for the world’s best and brightest minds. Many will study and stay here as new Canadians, making great contributions to our future economy, and many will return to their countries with strong bonds to Canada which they developed while being students here. They will be Canada’s future ambassadors.” JONATHAN KOLBER ILAC Founder/Co-President

My experience at ILAC was amazing, I really enjoyed learning English. I recommend ILAC to my friends because it is an excellent school. You really enjoy your experience because you can meet people from different countries, you can travel to other cities or even another country, you can learn English in an entertaining way and the most important thing, “you feel like you're home”. Thank you ILAC for everything!

When I was at ILAC, I enjoyed studying English. The comfortable environment, good friends, good teachers and very kind staff members made me focus on studying. Also, there are many good activities, so you can learn English while enjoying and having fun.

I am happy to be at ILAC! I can feel how much I am improving. The classes are dynamic and you never feel bored. The experience is amazing. You can meet people from different parts of the world and you can learn about different cultures. The teachers are professionals and kind to the students. Every day is a new experience. ILAC is such a good school, you will learn really fast!

I chose ILAC to have the second best experience of my life, precisely because the first one was here, at the same place, in the same school 7 years ago. The quality of the classes, the diversity of activities offered and the multiculturalism of Toronto made me choose to live that dream again. I would recommend it as I have already. Two of my friends from Brazil are coming to study at ILAC after my enthusiastic testimony about the experience at ILAC and the opportunities it provides.

Talks about:

Since I was a child I've been dreaming to study in a college in Canada! I think ILAC is helping me to achieve my goal. In the Pathway Program, I found the support that helped me to choose the best College for my education goals! I am really grateful for all the materials and instructions given to me! All this help has become an essential part of developing my skills and reaching my goals.

Toronto is a multicultural city, full of opportunities and activities. This town is clean, rich in greenery and flowers, safe, the transportation system is efficient, and everyone is always ready to help you. There are all kinds of restaurants, pubs, shops and malls, so you can always find what you are looking for.

Choosing Business English is by far the best decision I have taken since I came to ILAC. I found the best teacher and team to learn about business while having fun. ILAC has transformed my life in a short time. Thanks to an intensive program, I am now confident about my English skills and I learnt the tools to succeed in the business world. I highly recommend ILAC as your best partner to achieve your language goals. The school has the best staff and delivers positive results and improvements in a short term.

Back home, we learn English in a closed way, where education tends to focus on only grammar or vocabulary. On the other hand, at ILAC, I can learn English in a lot of different ways, from general knowledge or grammar to really specific and academic skills like in the business class. I like that way to learn English. For me, the atmosphere of the class is the most important aspect at ILAC.

Homestay Living in a homestay has changed my life. I've been learning so many things. When I came to Canada I was scared, without family or friends. The chance to have a place in someone's family home was amazing. In a homestay, if you are open to it, you can feel like you're at home. Also, in a homestay you have the chance to improve your English more than ever, learn more about other cultures and make good friends. You can have a second family, look how amazing is that!

At ILAC, it is fun to study! My teacher always made the class atmosphere exciting. They are the most friendly people I have ever met. Also, students are really friendly and kind to each other. They do not hesitate to help each other. I am really surprised that people from different countries can be best friends. Wherever I go all over the world, I now have friends in every country.

I want to get a diploma in Tourism Management from Niagara College. To enter this College, I need to improve my English, and with ILAC’s help I can achieve my goals and dreams. I was pleasantly surprised when my Regional Ambassador at ILAC told me that it is possible to enter the College without TOEFL or IELTS tests because ILAC has many partnerships with different Colleges and Universities.

My favorite activity was the trip to the Canadian Rockies. It was unforgettable, we did a lot of exciting things and even the long road trip was fun! ILAC offers pretty good activities and trips. They are super organized making sure that the activities and trips are be carried out in the best way.

The ILAC Experience

Regular classes are closed on both Toronto and Vancouver’s official holidays. When a holiday falls on Monday, ILAC will be closed for regular classes. However, orientation for new students will take place.

Staying with an ILAC family was the best experience I have ever had. I got such a good homestay, they became my second family! I'm so glad to stay with them!

At ILAC, teachers seek to inspire students in all aspects of their lives, by encouraging communication and building up students confidence and motivation. Outdoors activities help break the ice and boost the English learning process. ILAC is an institution where knowledge flows everywhere, making the learning process very pleasurable in a terrific atmosphere. My time at ILAC couldn't have been better. I really appreciate all good time lived and I hope I will be back soon!
