France Langue, a rewarding and effective method Our academic methodology is based on ACTIVE LEARNING, TAILOR-MADE programmes and INDIVIDUAL LEARNING SUPPORT of our students. France Langue has developed a method and a pace of progression as well as tailored activities so that students can reach their individual objectives according to the CEFR* (around 100 hours for levels A1 & A2, 150 hours from level B1). Immersion begins in our classrooms: students put the language into practice to draw on their knowledge, skills and refl exes to use in real situations. Students are constantly interacting in both written and oral French and are therefore active in their learning.The working atmosphere in our France Langue schools is both friendly and serious; the pace is dynamic and steady to actively develop the language skills of students. From the point of view of our students, this means, « I’m learning, I’m enjoying learning, I’m actively participating so I’m progressing ». Teaching materials used in class include recent books, audio and video documents, newspaper articles, internet resources, literature and material specifi cally developed by our teachers. Activities promote communication so that students can adapt themselves to different types of situation (day-to-day, educational, social, economic or professional). Classes are organised according to levels (all 6 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages are represented in our schools) and learning objectives, making sure of a good nationality mix.

Language courses for Juniors You are between 13 and 17 years old?* Join our full immersion junior programme to meet young people from all over the world! Located in some of the most beautiful vacation spots, you will combine French classes focused on oral expression with fun sport sessions, cultural excursions and many other activities!.
Our social programme • Social activities to allow students to practise French together before or after the activity: football games, beach volley contests, quizzes… •E xcursions to discover the Basque country or the French Riviera: half-day excursion on Wednesday afternoon and/or full-day excursion on Saturday (from Biarritz: Bayonne, St-Jean-de-Luz, St-Jean-Pied-de-Port, Espelette, la Rhune, etc. / from Nice: Cannes, SaintTropez, Monaco, St-Paul-de-Vence, etc.) • Evenings to encourage interaction: 1 evening activities per week in Biarritz and every evening in Nice (evening on the beach, bowling, cinema…). In Biarritz, the other evenings are spent with the family.
Your full board accommodation Accommodation: Biarritz: homestay accommodation, in twin rooms with two teens of the same gender. Carefully selected, our host families are located close to the school. Nice: accommodation in villas of 8 students of the same gender, in double or triple rooms. Each villa has 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. In the heart of the Club Mont Leuze, in a 13 hectares land planted with trees, between sea and mountain, 15 minutes away from Nice and Monaco, overlooking the whole coast and the Alps. Meals : Biarritz: breakfast, dinner and Sunday lunches are all taken with the host family. Packed lunches are provided for weekdays and excursions. Nice: all meals are taken at the Club Mont Leuze. Packed lunches are provided for excursions. Practical information Supervision/Safety A qualified group leader runs the activity programme and supervises the students. The supervision ratio is 1 to 8 for water activities and 1 to 12 for other activities and excursions.
Transportation In Biarritz, students can either walk or take the bus together to school. All the details will be given before the start of the course. Host families will also be able to help with the itinerary. Bus pass not included (approx. 12€ per week). In Nice, the programme takes place in a 24-hour supervised camp.Transportation to and from the activities and excursions will be led by our group leaders.
Transfers Return transfers are included from Biarritz or Nice airport or train station. Host families or our group leaders will pick the students up on arrival and drop them off on departure. Students should arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave on Saturday morning. Travel details must be confirmed 15 days before arrival (point of arrival, time, flight number...).
Parental authorisations A signed authorisation from parents is required if students are allowed out unaccompanied during the free evenings (with a curfew).The school also requires a signed health form for each student (with medical records and requirements). Other documents may be asked to the parents.
