• Have you got any questions? Do you need any advice about which programme and accommodation is the best for you? You can find what you need on our website and even use our Live Chat to talk to our experts. • Take our online level test – this will save time on your first day. We’ll send you instructions when you enrol. • Take a look at our Facebook page and see what’s going on at Frances King.

• You can choose our “meet and greet” transfer service and our representative will welcome you at the airport and take you to your accommodation. • For students who want to be more independent, we’ll provide information about how to use public transport.

Your first day at the school • Try to arrive an hour before your first lesson so you can meet our staff and start your class straight away. • Our staff will explain how you can make the most of your time at Frances King and in London or Dublin. 4

Activity Programme • After class and in the evenings and weekends, you can discover London or Dublin with your teachers and other students. • There’s something to do most days and evenings: guided walks, visits to museums and galleries, visits to well-known attractions as well as unusual places, sports activities, parties and a lot more. And most events are free of charge.

Learning outside the class We believe it’s important to keep on learning outside class times: • Your teachers will set homework • You can use self-study materials at the school • The activity programme offers great opportunities for practice

Lunch Club • If you are taking an Intensive Plus programme, once a week lunch is included. Led by an English speaker, groups of students enjoy a light lunch in a local café or restaurant.

Checking your progress • From time to time, you will have meetings about your progress with one of your teachers to help you use your time well. And on longer programmes you can expect regular progress tests.

Location and Facilities The school is in Kensington, a beautiful part of central London, near world-famous attractions. There are 22 classrooms with interactive whiteboards or computers. Nearby annexes have 12-18 classrooms. There is a coffee bar, comfortable common areas to socialise and study and Wi-Fi throughout.

For adults of all ages who want to achieve fluency in everyday English. Perfect if you’d like to be able to speak English when travelling, in social situations, read English books and magazines, and enjoy English online and in films.

Programmes in London designed for business and professional people and other highly motivated learners. There is a higher minimum age of 24 and only 5-8 students in each class.

Designed for people who need to prepare for IELTS or for further study in English.

English for Everyday • Suitable for adults of all ages who want to achieve fluency in everyday English • There is a focus on speaking and listening - by learning and practising language using real life situations, you will achieve greater fluency and accuracy • An Everyday Skills Session focuses on language and skills for everyday English, giving you phrases for travel, writing emails and much more

• If you choose an intensive course you will have ‘FK Lunch Club’ once a week where an English speaker takes you and a small group to lunch allowing you the opportunity to speak English in this relaxed environment
