Industrial Design A legacy of design innovation

For nearly 130 years, the Cleveland Institute of Art has produced artists and designers that impact the way we see things and how we live and work. Our alumni have launched incredible careers, prolific studio practices, and innovative design firms—we’ve chosen a few of the most notable products created by our alumni to showcase in this brochure. The work presented here comes from graduates of CIA’s Industrial Design program, which is consistently ranked one of the top ten programs in the country. From household products to automobile design, CIA graduates continue to work on the cutting-edge of art and design.
