Alemania — Programa de Becas para Estancias de Investigación para Profesores Universitarios y Científicos Colombianos FUENTE: DAAD OBJETIVO: El objetivo principal de este programa es la promoción de estancias de investigación de corta duración para el intercambio de experiencias y la creación de redes de cooperación con colegas y científicos alemanes. Los interesados tienen la posibilidad de solicitar una invitación para trabajar o realizar un proyecto de investigación en un centro de enseñanza superior público o en un instituto de investigación no universitario oficialmente reconocido por el gobierno de Alemania.

OBJETIVO: La Beca Investigador Visitante Colombiano ofrece a cuatro (4) académicos colombianos la oportunidad de vincularse a una universidad o instituto de investigación estadounidense durante un semestre en el año académico 2015-16 para realizar investigación avanzada. More specifically, projects that fall within the areas of the clusters established under the “Marshall Plan” and his successors are encouraged. MONTO A SUBVENCIONAR: The eligible costs are covered at 100% by the programme. The eligible expenditures are:

The entire researcher’s salary to the scale of research officer as required by the Decree of the Government of 24/11/2011 published in the Belgian Official Gazette of 02/01/2012. Applications are invited from academics of all nationalities who may not have resided or have carried out their main activity in Germany for more than a total of 12 months during the 3 years prior to the deadline. The programme offers outstanding research opportunities, not only in the research environment of an internationally highly competitive university, but also with the advantage of being part of an interdisciplinary community of fellows at FRIAS.

Interdisciplinary Research Grants: £800,000 (fEC)

Interdisciplinary Innovation Awards: full proposals supporting the development of innovative, adventurous, higher risk, interdisciplinary research, including projects at an earlier stage of interdisciplinary evolution and/or led by early career researchers. The types of interdisciplinary proposal supported under this heading could include, for example, exploratory or pilot studies and/or support for the development of new interdisciplinary partnerships and collaborations. These proposals can address any topic of relevance to the PaCCS conflict theme; they may address the three areas outlined for the larger interdisciplinary grants but do not need to be restricted to these areas. Investigación EEUU — Individual Fellowship Program FUENTE: Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, Harvard University OBJETIVO: The Radcliffe Institute Fellowship Program is a scholarly community where individuals pursue advanced work across a wide range of academic disciplines, professions, and creative arts. Radcliffe Institute fellowships are designed to support scholars, scientists, artists, and writers of exceptional promise and demonstrated accomplishment who wish to pursue work in academic and professional fields and in the creative arts. MONTO A SUBVENCIONAR: Stipends are funded up to $75,000 for one year with additional funds

for project expenses. Some support for relocation expenses is provided where relevant. We work with fellows with families who have particular issues connected to relocating to smooth the transition. If so directed, Radcliffe will pay the stipend to the fellow’s home institution. Fellows receive office or studio space and access to libraries and other resources of Harvard University DIRIGIDO A: Women and men from across the United States and throughout the world, including developing countries, are encouraged to apply.
