Scheveningen Harbour The annual Vlaggetjesdag (‘Flag Day’) in Scheveningen Harbour attracts thousands of visitors every summer. This is also where St. Nicholas’s boat heads each year in mid-November. You need only to walk down Houtrustweg to reach Scheveningen Harbour, where you will find a large marina, several inviting outdoor cafés, and – as can only be expected – a variety of exceptional fish restaurants. The windows are placed slightly inwards, causing recesses in the natural stone façade and creating a unique contrast when struck by different forms of angled light. Thanks to staggered roof lines, the buildings take on a less massive appearance and make it possible for many of the apartments to have a terrace. Houtrust bids you a warm welcome!
