PATTERNS ● ● ● ●

This is my first work on SketchUp. There are six different patterns that you can see Even though it looks very simple, I learned what to do with basic tools and got chance to improve my skills by working on these tools Patterns are not looking exactly same the ones that our instructor has done maybe this might be considered as weakness in this project By the time improved my skills on SketchUp I would do these patterns as more 3D looking so it would look more nice

TRELLIS & 3D CUBE EXERCISE ● ● ●

● ●

In this project there is one Trellis and one 3D cube I figured out that you can do creative things as well such as 3D cube Columns that holds the trellis looked so simple for that reason I had to create some kind of bulge to make it look accurate I would try to change the simple look to more professional look The more work the more time

TINY CABIN PROJECT ● ● ● ● ●

This is my first serious project on SketchUp. There are different views of my tiny cabin. The dimensions are 10x16 and has two floor. In this project I came up with the idea of making the second floor larger by adding two columns and making a balcony as it was lack of space My two floor plan didn’t go as planned and I had to make the second floor larger In the future if I ever work on this project again I would change exterior first and try to add more transparent items to make it more modern Adding more transparent look will have me to change structure slidely

GROUP PLAN SKETCH ● ● ●

● ●

Here I have our first group project. This sketch is planned as 8x20 for tiny house project We tried to come with best dimensions by evaluating all the ideas to use the space as efficient as possible When we decided to tape the sketch there was not enough space in the field so we had to show the second floor on the left side instead of showing as a straight In the future I would firstly change the dimensions from 8x20 to 10x16 so I can get larger space for household items Changing the dimensions will give small place but at least it will give me larger place 13

IMPROVED TOOL PROJECT Original Lemon Squeezer : The reason I choosed this project is that I use this squeezer at home all the time and it gives har time for users in terms of storing the juice.

17

MY IMPROVED TOOL PROJECT Lemon Squeezer : We were asked to improve the tool that we picked and what I did is to cover around the squeezer so it won’t splash all around, plus I designed little storing cup under the tool. So who ever use this tool will end up getting the lemon juice safely from bottom of this tool

FINAL: MID-CENTURY MODERN ARCHITECTURE Los Manantiales - Felix Candela Architect : Felix Candela Location : Canal Principal, San Jerรณnimo, Xochimilco, 16420 Mexico City, Federal District, Mexico Design Team : Colin Faber Year : 1958

Los Manantiales - Felix Candela The reason the we have picked this project is, it look very challenging and we could observe many problems to solve and in this way we could process a lot in this class in terms of learning

20

Los Manantiales final improvement I have inspired from few architectural culture that I have seen. First of all I want it to change the roof by adding dome so I can get a second floor. In total it’s 27ft tall building, made up of concrete and wood and mostly glass windows
