February 6th-12th is a salient date in the calendar for the salon industry as it celebrates National Apprenticeship Week. With the theme for 2023 being ‘Skills for Life’, our main focus in this issue is Training and Education; here we look into what apprenticeships can bring to your salon and where to seek advice. With inspiring content provided by some of the biggest names in the sector, our February issue promises not to disappoint.

As a part of the wider feature, newly re-branded Kleek Apprenticeships spotlight one of their students in our popular Rising Star feature where you can hear it from the horse’s mouth, as to just how beneficial the training system is. Our Essential 5 piece is also perfectly situated in the edit as it highlights five tips for getting the most out of your apprentice.

Making up the other half of our second issue of 2023 is, of course, our regular pieces in the shape of Salon of the Month, which features Rory Antonio Hair & Beauty Lab, the Social Media Look Book, Industry News and a plethora of incredible Collection Images by some of the greats.

I won’t say too much more or I’ll spoil the fun, so, please enjoy yet another Salon Magazine and don’t hesitate to get in touch if there is something in particular you’d like us to spark conversation or offer advice on.
