A Message from the Board Chair

Welcome to the 2024 edition of the Membership Directory & Business Resource Guide! A special thank you to our partner, Cincinnati Magazine, for assisting with this informative publication.

With the ever-changing landscape of innovation and technology, investing in workforce development and education is key to the success of not only the local business community, but also our community at large. It is our honor to shine a spotlight on some of the initiatives that employers and educators are implementing that are having a positive impact on businesses and citizens alike. These initiatives are proof that the Anderson area is thriving as businesses and stakeholders continue to adapt in the post-pandemic era.

There are many exciting community events planned for 2024, including the return of FallFest & Trick-or-Treat at Anderson Towne Center. This event is a wonderful opportunity for residents to bring their families and enjoy live music, local food vendors, cold drinks, entertainment, and shopping. The Chamber also hosts a wide range of networking events each month, such as Business After Hours, Morning Mixers, and the very informative monthly Membership Meetings. These are excellent venues to build relationships, make connections and grow your business. Be sure to take advantage of these events to expand your network of Anderson area business leaders.

The Chamber’s leadership program, Accelerate Anderson, is now accepting applications for the 2024-25 class year. This outstanding program is designed to educate, train, and encourage Anderson area professionals to engage as leaders in our community. To broaden its investment in local workforce development the Chamber, along with the Forest Hills School District, launched ASPIRE! This junior leadership program provides high school sophomores with a platform for career exploration, professional development, and community education. For more information or to get involved with these amazing programs, please contact Brandy Uhlenbrock, Director of Member Services at the Chamber office.

As a long-time resident and business owner I am proud of this organization and the benefits it provides to its members and the local area. I have found that my investment in the Chamber continues to yield valuable returns, including business growth, meaningful relationships, and community connections. I encourage you and your business to get involved and utilize the networking and discount programs. Attend a monthly Membership Meeting, volunteer for a committee, or come to one of our events to see for yourself. We look forward to serving you in 2024!

ASPIRE Youth Discovery Initiative

In addition to Accelerate Anderson, designed to elevate the leadership development of local business professionals, the Anderson Area Chamber is excited to add ASPIRE Youth Discovery Initiative for our emerging leaders!

From September 2023 through March 2024, the Chamber welcomed its very first class of ASPIRE. A joint venture between the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and Forest Hills School District, the program is for high school students who are on the precipice of future leadership. This program guides Anderson and Turpin High School sophomores through a series of personal and career discovery sessions.

ASPIRE seeks to empower sophomores to build their confidence, aptitude, and employability skills and expose them to a variety of career opportunities. Brandy Uhlenbrock, director of Members Services for the Chamber, and Melanie Hartong, community partnership specialist for FHSD, shared that the decision to target sophomores was deliberate. It enables students to draw on their experience and knowledge from the program and apply it to planning for their future, be

it college, vocational programs, military, or apprenticeships. Participating sophomores may also develop the confidence to apply for other leadership programs or internship opportunities once they are juniors or seniors. “We want to make students aware of the vast number of career opportunities in the area and hopefully retain their talent as the future workforce,” Uhlenbrock says.

ASPIRE meets once a month during the school day in “community classrooms.” These interactive classrooms are hosted by local businesses and feature guest speakers on relevant topics. Topics covered throughout the program include communication and collaboration, financial literacy, local government, wellness in the community, and caring for the environment. They also include an in-depth personality analysis and career exploration. Students have an opportunity to build their professional network, and awareness

about resources that exist within the Anderson Township and Greater Cincinnati communities.

ASPIRE also includes a service-learning component, which builds students’ awareness of the importance of community involvement. In the fall, program leaders guided participants through a flag dedication service-learning project. See page 17 for information on how to purchase a flag and support the students in their mission.

Registration for the 2024-25 ASPIRE program will open in Schoology in mid-August 2024.

“Accelerating” Leadership

If you look around Anderson, you’ll quickly notice the business makeup isn’t quite like other areas around town. You won’t find heavy industry or large corporate warehouses. In fact, it’s comprised of nearly 90 percent small businesses.

When the AACC decided to develop a leadership course for local professionals, they knew it needed to look different than what other Chambers offer. “Accelerate Anderson is different because our business footprint is different,” explains Brandy Uhlenbrock, Director of Member Services for the AACC who leads the Accelerate Anderson program. We welcome a wide range of participants to the Accelerate program – from C-suite executives to those early in their careers. Participating in the program is a great way to advance your leadership skills, learn more about your own communication skills, grow your network and find new ways to make an impact in your community. Whether you’re new to the area or have lived here for decades, you’re sure to learn something new about local commerce and government through the Accelerate sessions.

Accelerate is a half-day program that allows participants to attend educational sessions and take part in candid conversations with community leaders, and still make it into the office after lunch. The Chamber has also been conscious to keep the price of the program accessible for small businesses that don’t have the budgets of large companies. Accelerate is around one-half the price of other area Chamber leadership courses.

The Chamber is currently accepting applications for the 2024 Accelerate Anderson leadership class starting in October. Contact Brandy Uhlenbrock at (513) 474-4802 or brandy@andersonareachamber. org. Visit AndersonAreaChamber. org/accelerate-anderson for more information.

Accelerate Anderson

Accelerate Anderson Testimonials

Accelerate Anderson is an exceptional program that has truly transformed my professional and personal life. Working with a diverse group of talented individuals has not only expanded my professional network but has also exposed me to different perspectives and approaches. The camaraderie within the program creates a supportive community that celebrates each other’s successes and navigates challenges together. Accelerate Anderson has been nothing short of transformative. It has equipped me with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to thrive in today’s fast-paced and competitive landscape.

I’ve had a great time meeting new people and building connections with local businesses. The training on the DISC assessment has been incredibly valuable to me, both personally and professionally. –

Accelerate Anderson has been incredibly beneficial to me, both personally and professionally. I’ve been able to gain a newfound appreciation for this wonderful community and the extensive services, programs, and locally owned businesses that make it a great place to work. The program also provides specific, focused professional development opportunities that have improved my performance and helped me become a stronger member of my team.

The leadership topics we cover and the local venues we visit has been very educational and fun at the same time.  I’m excited each month to dive into a new leadership topic and understand a little more about my leadership style and habits, all while also learning about a new venue in Anderson Township.  I’ve been delighted visiting many of these business and organizations in Anderson Township I did not know existed.  I’m thrilled the Anderson Chamber offers such an outstanding program!

Think Big for Small Business

The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce wants to remind you to “Shop Local.” Once people realize the community reinvestment impact of shopping locally, it makes so much sense. On average when a consumer shops locally, 75 percent of the money spent stays in the local community, compared to only 40 percent when consumers shop at a larger retailer. Small businesses buy products and services from other small businesses, reinvesting money into the community.

The list goes on and on with examples of how locally owned businesses reinvest money into the community in which they operate. This is why when at all possible, it is good to support the little guys on your block.

It is the duty of a local chamber of commerce to support and promote locally owned businesses year-round. They are the backbone of American business and the driving force behind a healthy economy.

Think about it! A locally owned shop will:

• Use a local accountant for payroll and taxes

• Use a local printer to print letterhead, business cards, banners, etc.

• Purchase business insurance from a local agent

• Use local agencies for marketing and promotion

• Shop at local boutiques

Workforce Development in Anderson Township

The Anderson area is—and will continue to be—a great place to do business. Local business leaders in three key industries-health care, trades and retail – share what they are doing to develop their businesses and positively contribute to the local economy. These professionals are helping to ensure that our community has a vibrant economy for the near future and for decades to come.

Mercy Anderson Family Medicine Residency Program

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the country faced rampant healthcare provider shortages. As trends continue, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services estimates that Ohio will face a physician shortage of 1,200 physicians by 2025.

“This shortage is leading to longer wait times to see your physician and potential

negative effects on health outcomes,” explains Allegra Tenkman, MD, residency program director. “We hope that by creating our training program right here in Anderson, we can proactively prevent some of the effects in our community.”

Our residents are physicians who have graduated from medical school and are specializing in Family Medicine. They are supervised for the first three years and contin-

ue to learn from more experienced doctors. “When recruiting medical students to join our program, we focus on students graduating from medical schools in the Midwest, and even more so on students who call the Cincinnati area home,” Dr. Tenkman adds.

Nationwide statistics reveal that, after graduating from their residency training program, 54 percent of resident doctors choose to stay local, continuing their prac-

tices in the same state where they did their residency training.  “The hope is that, if we train doctors who are from this area, we will retain an even higher percentage after graduation to practice in Cincinnati,” Dr. Tenkman says.

On the other hand, a significant portion of that 54 percent are trainees who came from afar but grew to love the local communities and decided to put down roots where they trained. Because of this, program leadership actively engages the resident physicians with the Anderson community, exposing them to local clinical opportunities and helping them build a sense of “home” while here.

The influence of Mercy’s residency program on the local community and healthcare professionals is considerable. Now in its third year, residents are diligently offering family medicine services to more than 2,500 community members, and we are poised for further expansion. Dr. Kathy Healy-Collier, DHA, president of Mercy Health-Anderson Hospital, recommends, “For those in search of a primary care provider, our residency program presents an excellent opportunity to connect with dedicated and skilled professionals." Residents

see newborns and children of all ages, too.

Wake Plumbing

When Erik Wake founded Wake Plumbing in 2018, he knew he wanted to do things differently. He had worked for large companies as a plumber for over two decades. He was ready to start his own business on his own terms. “I wanted to make it more about the community than about myself,” he explains. Specifically, he wanted to focus on servicing Anderson Township.

When asked how he uses his business to serve our local community, Erik has a number of examples. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Wake Plumbing suspended their service fees and lowered their prices across the board. “We were deemed essential,” explains Erik. “We knew that we could still make a paycheck, while the rest of the world had no idea what was going on.”

Another way that Wake Plumbing serves the Anderson community is through their plumbing apprenticeship program. Three years ago, Erik took on his first apprentice, recent Anderson High School grad Jerick. Jerick works 40 hours a week at Wake alongside an experienced plumber. He also goes to school two nights a week for three hours a night at the Cincinnati Master Plumbers Association (CMPA).

As long as his grades are good (he currently has a 97 percent average) and he stays with Wake at least until he finishes at CMPA, the company pays 100 percent of Jerick’s schooling costs. After he graduates from the program, he will become a journeyman. After another two years of experience, Jerick can become a master plumber.

Erik’s community-minded perspective has paid off. Within just three years, Wake Plumbing overtook some of the larger plumbing companies for Cincy Magazine’s

coveted “Best of the East” award. Erik aims to hire four more plumbers—two apprentices and two experienced plumbers—by the end of 2024. “To be a plumber, you have to be a good citizen too,” explains Erik. In Ohio, plumbers or apprentices cannot have any felonies. And if a plumber gets a felony conviction, they’ll lose their plumbing license.

“We do very little marketing,” says Erik. “Most of our exposure is through local Facebook groups.” Due to that, he’s very conscious about his personal and professional image that he portrays online and in the community. Looking ahead, Erik hopes to expand in more trades so his company can become a trusted “one stop shop” for home services in Anderson.

Flying Pig Toys

Launched in June 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Flying Pig Toys in the Five Mile Center has become a beloved local toy store that Anderson was missing for many, many years. “Customers thank me for bringing a toy store to Anderson all the time,” says owner Marci Harman. “They appreciate having a unique store close to home

Helping Students with Disabilities

Transition to Local Employment Opportunities

The Forest Hills School District (FHSD) Transition to Work Program partners with 15 local businesses to provide students with disabilities with handson career exploration and training opportunities. “Together with our business partners, we are working to support our students’ future success in the employment world,” says Susan Hughes, Transition & Work Study Coordinator at Forest Hills School District. “The program allows our students to practice the skills necessary to be successful in a work environment.”

Students work alongside a FHSD Job Coach who provides support, accommodations, and job-embedded coaching. One local business that participates in the program is Park National Bank in Anderson Township. “The best thing about working with students with disabilities at Park National Bank is forming a relationship, getting to know the student workers and watching them grow and learn,” says Jason Hughes of Park National Bank. “The students who have work-study experience at Park National Bank end up becoming part of the team.”

During the 2023-24 school year, program participant Andrew Smith completed one of his work experiences at Park National Bank, where he worked one day a week for one-and-a-half hours as an office assistant. While there, he was responsible for filling all of the copiers and printers, restocking deposit and withdrawal slips, delivering in-office mail and other tasks.

Business partners benefit from participating in the program by experiencing how individuals with disabilities can contribute to a positive work environment. “Several of our business partners have employed our students upon graduation,” explains Susan. The program is truly a win-win for everyone involved!

and love searching the shelves for original items that they don’t see anywhere else.”

In October 2022, Flying Pig moved to a new space in the same shopping plaza that’s four times larger than their original location. This new location enables Flying Pig to have more space for more inventory. It has also enabled them to add more mainstream products that didn’t fit into the branding of the original store. The new location also allows for much more visibility. Customers had a hard time finding the old store because it was tucked back in a corner. “Now I do receive a bit of walk-in traffic,” says Marci. “New customers discover the store every day.”

Flying Pig currently has three part-time employees, plus a couple seasonal employees during the holiday season. They’re currently in need of evening and Sunday employees so they can expand their hours. When asked what she’s looking for in employees, Marci says that the most important thing is trust. “I want to be able to trust them in the store alone and give them a key to the store so they can open and close on their own,” she explains.

Looking ahead, Marci hopes that her business continues to grow as more people learn about Flying Pig. She also has plans to expand even further into the vacant space next door. Doing so will enable her to display even more inventory and perhaps open a play space. “I think people love to shop small and support small businesses,” says Marci. “I just think that we are not always the first thought of customers when they need a gift.” We encourage you to shop small at any of our local businesses the next time you need to buy a gift or shop for a special occasion!

A Thriving Local Economy

Our local economy looks a little different than other communities in the Cincinnati area with small, locally owned businesses dominating our landscape. These make Anderson a great place to live and work, with numerous opportunities to launch or grow your career. “Just because you’re not in the career you love right now doesn’t mean you can’t find one,” reminds Traci Stivers, director of community relations for BCW Workforce. Now may be the perfect time to make a career move by plugging into these top industries in our area!

Anderson Township Government

Built on the hard work and innovation of previous generations, Anderson Township remains focused on smart growth and careful preservation of community assets to create a sustainable future.

This highly sought after community is more than just beautiful homes set on rolling hills. It’s a place where residents enjoy high-quality government services, schools and parks, an innovative Greenspace program preserving natural areas, and easy access to Downtown and the airport.

Thoughtful planning is a hallmark of Anderson Township government. In the past 25 years, the township has steadily built its award-winning trails program to allow residents more opportunities to connect. In addition, the township has encouraged new housing options for all generations and leveraged public-private partnerships to bring new amenities into the community. The goal is a community where all generations will find quality housing and excellent amenities available for their needs.

Governed by a three-person elected board of trustees, Anderson operates its own public works and fire departments. Police services are contracted through the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and include specialty officers such as school resource officers and community crime prevention specialists.

Beechmont Avenue, the community’s “Main Street,” provides a hub of service and shopping destinations with increasing options for quality restaurants and entertainment. Safety and convenience have increased in the past decade, as the corridor continues to undergo transformation through beautification

and safety enhancements for all modes of transportation.

Recent efforts, such as connecting trails, park enhancements, and open space preservation along the Little Miami Scenic River have paid off over time, creating a new recreation corridor bringing in greater opportunities to play along the river. A new community in the township near the river, Skytop Apartments, is transforming once languishing property on the township’s edge into a vital, attractive center. Additionally, the new Vantage at Anderson Towne Center apartment community is opening late this year on Five Mile Road adjacent to Anderson Center. This development also will provide overflow public parking for the center and METRO, transforming a core property in the center of the township.

The township’s Entertainment District along Kellogg Avenue and the Ohio River also takes on a new look this year. An interchange beautification project will provide a welcoming experience for the area’s nearly 2 million annual visitors. Other projects include upcoming streetscape enhancements which will improve safety and traffic flow for those exploring the multitude of activities in the area.

Responsible, efficient and conservative governance has paid off in Anderson Township. Property taxes are kept in check while the township maintains high-quality public services. Government leaders look for ways to stretch public dollars to enhance the community while stretching tax levies. As housing prices fluctuate nationally, Anderson remains a solid investment for homeowners. Senior adults living here also enjoy the camaraderie of the township-owned senior center, a safe haven for many active residents who enjoy weekday fellowship and activities.

Local volunteers are encouraged to get involved in decision-making activities in Anderson Township government. More than 80 residents serve on a variety of citizen committees that advise the trustees on key issues ranging from zoning to transportation and economic development.

As in year’s past, Anderson’s leadership continues to concentrate on programs and policies that support a high quality of life, enhancing the corporate experience of a community that respects its past while actively charting a better future.

Entertainment and Recreation

Entertainment and recreation opportunities in the Anderson area can help you unwind from day-to-day stresses and make meaningful connections for where you’re at in life. Whether you’re looking to connect with other families with kids, break into the community as a young adult or stay engaged as a retiree empty-nester, learn how local entertainment and recreation options can help you find connection right here in Anderson.

Our highly rated school district is wellknown throughout the region and state. So, if you came to the area with school-age kids, you’re in good company. Anderson Park District are always a popular place to connect with local families and host play dates. Our parks offer engaging programming for all ages—including theater and live music—at various locations around Anderson. Both the parks and our Anderson branch of the Cincinnati Public Library offer specialized children’s programming throughout the year. You can burn off energy and stay active by playing indoors yearround at a number of area fitness facilities, including Mercy HealthPlex, D1 Training, and Beechmont Racquet and Fitness.

For young adults who live in the area, Anderson boasts an array of entertainment and recreation opportunities so they can stay close to home during evenings and weekends out. Local craft breweries and a wide variety of local eateries serve as popular gathering spots and happy hour hang

outs. The entertainment district on Kellogg Avenue also offers a myriad of options. Belterra Park features seasonal live thoroughbred and year-round simulcast racing, plus several dining options and a choice of more than 1,300 games. From spring through fall, gather a group of friends to attend a summer concert together at Riverbend. Additional entertainment offerings are coming soon to the former Coney property, also in this area.

As the Baby Boomer generation has aged into retirement, we’re happy to see that many of our long-time residents choose to spend their golden years in the area. Anderson Park District and M.E. Lyons YMCA have recently added pickleball courts, a popular pursuit among the 55+ set. Golfers can choose from several area public courses or enjoy indoor simulation at ALL iN GOLF. If a leisurely walk or bike ride is more your style, hit the Five Mile Trail or even the more ambitious Little Miami Scenic Trail, which winds north from Newtown. Looking for a serene escape to nature? Look no further than one of our area parks with wooded trails and scenic vistas of the Ohio or Little Miami rivers.

Here in Anderson, we’re proud to boast plenty of entertainment and recreation options. Even if you’ve lived here for decades, there may be a few you haven’t heard of and may thoroughly enjoy. We encourage you to check out something new in 2024!

So Long, Coney Island!

At the end of 2023, we bid adieu to Coney Island, a mainstay of Anderson area culture for nearly a century and a half. Throughout its history, Coney Island served as a breezy riverside destination for those seeking a respite from the summer heat of Cincinnati and surrounding areas. Early visitors arrived at the rear entrance to the park on an Island Queen riverboat – dressed to the nines and ready to see and be seen.

During the first half of the 20th century, Coney Island grew to become a major theme park destination for the region. Long-touted as “the world’s largest recirculating swimming pool,” Sunlite Pool was added in 1925. Swooning couples twirled under the stars to the sweet sounds of headlining big band acts at beloved venue Moonlite Gardens, also located on Coney grounds. Thrill attractions like the “Wildcat” and “Shooting Star” rollercoasters propelled guests into seemingly unending days of summertime bliss.

When Kings Island opened in 1972, many of Coney’s most popular attractions moved north to Mason. Some smaller “kiddie” rides stayed behind on the banks of the Ohio River and Sunlite Pool remained the major draw.

Families enjoyed warm-weather fun, sweethearts courted, and friends of all ages gathered at Coney. Like many Cincinnatians, we’re sad to see Coney Island gone after all these years, but the memories remain. We look forward to what’s next for this property and hope that it continues its long-standing legacy of fun and entertainment for all.

Anderson Township Historical Society and Urban Farm

The Anderson Urban Farm is a hidden gem in our community. Owned by the Anderson Township Historical Society, the Urban Farm is located on Bartels Road adjacent to Turpin High School. Many years ago, the ATHS had the foresight to purchase this land to protect its log house property on Clough Pike. The land sat unused until 2018, when a group of citizens approached the Historical Society about starting a community garden on the site. In a huge undertaking, the grounds were cleared of honeysuckle,

and an area was plowed for 36 garden plots. Due to intense interest, the garden area was expanded to 75 plots in 2020. The Farm is used by Mercer Elementary students as an outdoor classroom, learning about science while studying the resident chicken flock. Volunteers care for the chickens and keep any eggs laid on their watch. The Farm has three houses from different time periods, as well as a working barn. In 2022, the ATHS raised $50,000 to renovate the barn, which is used for farm activities and as a performance area during events. The Farm hosts several events each year, including the Harvest Fair, which features live music, arts and crafts, food trucks, and hands-on activities. In the coming years, the Urban Farm hopes to provide more classes, workshops, and special events for the public. The community is welcome to come enjoy this peaceful oasis any time of year, whether by attending an event, renting a garden plot, volunteering at the monthly work-

days, tending our native plant gardens, or just enjoying a picnic lunch or cup of coffee.  In 2023, the ATHS embarked on a strategic planning process focusing on organization, communication, engagement and fundraising. The fundraising committee has worked to develop a comprehensive plan to raise additional funds for the Society. The group has created a portfolio of sponsorship opportunities as well as a benefits packet for participating corporations/individuals. These fundraising dollars will help support new and existing programming, in addition to property and building maintenance. For information about sponsorship opportunities, please contact fundraising@andersonhistoricalsocierty.org.

ANDERSON

Economic Development: Housing Tops Good News for 2024

Apiece of good economic news: Anderson’s housing market remains strong. The community is welcoming two new apartment communities, while construction in several new subdivisions continues even with an increase in interest rates.

The two prominent apartment communities are reshaping portions of Anderson Township, filling a gap in the township’s offerings for downsizing empty nesters and young adults. This market has historically been underserved. In fact, the addition to the Stonegate Apartment Community in 2020 was the first large-scale multi-family development in nearly 40 years and was fully occupied within months.

The 361-unit, four-story Skytop Apartment development, on the township’s western corridor, includes an Art Deco flair and numerous high-end amenities. It will be fully completed this spring. The Hills development on Five Mile Road, Vantage at Anderson Towne Center, is now leasing. The first phase of the community will open later this year and the development will be completed in early 2025. Amenities include an infinity saltwater swimming pool, a speakeasy with golf simulator and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

“Market studies have shown a tremendous demand for higher density rental housing in the Anderson Market, and the recent developments will tap into that, while also addressing a key goal of the township’s Com-

Subdivisions

prehensive Plan,” noted Steve Sievers, Anderson’s assistant administrator for operations.

Sievers noted economic development should expand in both areas. “These communities also bring many more potential home buyers to Anderson Township, as it’s much easier to retain residents once they’ve experienced all this area has to offer,” he added.

According to Jeff Rosa, former chair of the Economic Development Committee, Anderson Township continues to be a prime location for new single family homes as well, with about 75 lots available for construction. Approximately 100 more new home sites are in the planning process, he said. “In general, smaller subdivisions, often with less than 20 lots, will be the trend in Anderson,” he noted. As the community is built out, and redevelopment becomes the primary direction for new growth, there are few large tracts remaining,” he said.

Kellogg Avenue Entertainment District Improvements

An ambitious project reshaping the Kellogg Avenue Entertainment District started last fall with upgrades to the I-275, Exit 72. Themes seen in the landscaping pattern and welcome wall include a nod to the area’s relationship with the Ohio River and its previous life as orchards and vineyards.

“Hundreds of millions of dollars of private investment has been made over the past decade in the community, and our entertainment district along the Ohio River was one of

the key areas of development,” said Trustee Lexi Lausten. “We are looking forward to changing the face of this our front door to Anderson, and namely this entertainment district, through strategic investment.”

Future phases include lighting, traffic safety and wayfinding improvements along Kellogg road, laying out a more welcoming gateway experience to this popular section of Anderson Township, she said.

Sidewalks and Trails

Two sidewalk projects are scheduled this year. Elstun Connector, a quarter-mile trail from Beechmont Avenue near Elstun Road and the Skytop apartment community, over Clough Creek, to the Little Miami Scenic Trail, will be completed in 2024. This link contributes to a “hub” of four trails around Lunken Airport and the Little Miami Scenic River. The new Skytop community, along with residents of the township and Mt. Washington will benefit from the increased bike and pedestrian access to the Little Miami Scenic Trail provided through the Elstun project.

A planned Clough and Wolfangel sidewalk link will provide further pedestrian access to existing and new neighborhoods off Wolfangel and Clough Pike. The new sidewalks will connect Clough Chase, Delas Cove, along with the Kingstonhill/Kingstonview area and Towerview Lane residents, to the new Villas of Cross Creek community on Wolfangel.
