ANTONIO MICHAEL WOODARD (GEORGE/LITTLE WILLIE JOHN) Antonio is pleased to be making his Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park debut. His off-Broadway credits include Macbeth (John Doyle) with Classic Stage Company. Regional credits include: Williamstown Theatre Festival: A Human Being of A Sort; Trinity Rep: Ragtime; and Pyramid Theatre Company: The Amen Corner, Mississippi Goddamn. On television, he has appeared in Evil (CBS, Peter Sollett). His awards include: Cloris Leachman Award Nominee (The Amen Corner), Alabama State University Faculty Senate Award of Excellence (The Color Purple), and the Irene Ryan Best Actor Finalist KCACTF Region IV. He received his Master’s of Fine Arts from Brown University (Brown/Trinity Rep Acting Program) and a B.A. in Theatre from Alabama State University. KJ SANCHEZ (PLAYWRIGHT/DIRECTOR) KJ wrote and directed the world premiere of Cincinnati King. Her other directing credits here include Jane Eyre by Polly Teale, Sex with Strangers by Laura Eason, SherlockHolmes and the Adventure ofthe Suicide Club by Jeffrey Hatcher, the world premiere of Seven Spots on the Sun by Martín Zimmerman, Joan the Girl of Arc by Darrah Cloud and Venus in Fur by David Ives. As a playwright, she has been produced at The Guthrie Theater, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Two River Theater, Baltimore Center Stage, Round House Theatre, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Cornerstone Theater Company and off-Broadway at Urban Stages Theater and HERE Arts Center. She is the CEO of American Records, a theatre company and anAssociate Professor and Head of Playwriting and Directing at University of Texas at Austin.

RICHARD LIVINGSTON HUNTLEY (MUSIC DIRECTOR/

DRUMMER) Following the success of the 2018 world premiere of Cincinnati King, Richard is thrilled to be returning to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park for Need Your Love. A drummer and percussionist, he has performed in over 30 countries worldwide, including major jazz, blues and world music festivals. He has performed and or recorded with jazz greats such as John Benitez, Ron Blake, Luis Bonilla, Cameron Brown, George Coleman, Jerry Gonzalez, Harold Mabern, Mulgrew Miller, Scott Robinson, Lew Soloff, Esperanza Spaulding and Fred Wesley. For over 20 years he has played with Brazilian piano legend and samba funk innovator Dom Salvador. Other musical associations include singer-songwriter Natalie Merchant, New York bordello blues band Hazmat Modine, and globe-trot-

ting collaborations with the Gangbe Brass Band from Benin, the Tuvan throat singing groups Huun Hur Tu and Alash, and the Toureg guitarist and singer Bombino. Recent recordings include “The Art of The Hang,” a piano trio with pianist Nikolaj Hess and bassist Cameron Brown; “You,” a collaborative trio with guitarist Niklas Winter (Finland) and Emil Hess (Denmark); ”Evolution Stores,” a nonet recording by Emil Hess; and a cast recording of the musical This Beautiful City by the late Michael Friedman. He is a faculty member at the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin and holds an M.M. from The Manhattan School of Music, where he was on the faculty for 12 years. JOSAFATH REYNOSO (SET DESIGNER)

An award-winning scenic designer, Josafath was born in Mexico and was awarded the Gold Medal for Scenic Design at the World Stage Design 2017 in Taiwan for his production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Other awards: the 2015 USITT Scenic Design Award; 2014 SETC Scenic Design Award for Eugene O’Neill’s The Hairy Ape; the 2013 BroadwayWorld Award for Our Country’s Good, and the SETC Ready-for-Work Award for The Threepenny Opera. In the U.S., he has designed for Virginia Stage Company, Lexington Children’s Theatre, The Clarence Brown Theatre, Serenbe Playhouse, Warehouse Theatre, Triad Stage, Alice Jepson Theatre, Donald Bedell Performance Hall and University of Tennessee Opera. In Mexico, he has designed for Teatro Salvador Novo, Foro Antonio Lopez Mancera, UNAM Facultad de Arquitectura and Teatro Esperanza Iris. International credits include new productions for Teatro del Borde in Argentina, Escena 8 in Venezuela and KCDC in Israel. He was selected as a keynote speaker for Stage|Set|Scenery in Berlin and invited to present at the International Biennale of Architecture in Buenos Aires for his design of Noche Arabe. He has represented the United States in Germany and The Czech Republic, and he has represented Mexico in Taiwan, The Czech Republic and Venezuela.

RACHEL ANNE HEALY (COSTUME DESIGNER) Rachel is thrilled to be a part of Need Your Love. Previous credits with the Playhouse include Cincinnati King and Jane Eyre. Based in Chicago, Rachel’s costume designs have been seen on numerous stages including Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Writers Theatre, Court Theatre, Chicago Children’s Theatre, Northlight Theatre, TimeLine Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, American Theatre Company, Next Theatre Company, Victory Gardens and Remy Bumppo Theatre Company. Regionally, she has designed with Alley Theatre, Hartford Stage, The Huntington, Alliance Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company, Long Wharf Theatre, Delaware Theatre Company, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, First Stage Children’s Theatre of Milwaukee, Indiana Repertory Theatre and American Players Theatre. Rachel is also a professor at Loyola University where she teaches Theatrical Design, Make-up Design and Puppetry.

AMBER WHATLEY (LIGHTING DESIGNER) Amber is a lighting designer for live performance. Her skills include lighting for theatre, dance and concert, and lighting for the camera. Her technical strengths are programing and moving light programing. She was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. She then completed her B.F.A. at Savannah College of Art and Design. She has consulted for several theatres and churches in the Southeast U.S. Her MFA graduate studies in Lighting Design at The University of Texas at Austin led her to the creation of Blackout, a workshop and video series in which her objective is to bring lighting design and technology awareness to Black youth and under-supported communities. Her research interests include creating accessible lighting knowledge for BIPOC youth and under-supported communities, new works and non-traditional theater design. As a recent graduate and post MFA fellow at The Ohio State University, Amber enjoys teaching, freelance designing and furthering the development of Blackout.

LINDSAY JONES (SOUND DESIGNER) Lindsay is happy to be returning to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, where he has designed Cincinnati King, The Roommate, Shipwrecked! An Entertainment, Through the Night and In the Continuum. His Broadway productions include Slave Play (Tony nominations for Best Score and Best Sound Design of a Play), The Nap, Bronx Bombers and A Time to Kill. Off-Broadway productions include Privacy (The Public Theater), Bootycandy (Playwrights Horizons), Feeding the Dragon (Primary Stages), Top Secret (New York Theatre Workshop) and many others. Regionally, Lindsay has designed productions at The Guthrie Theater, Center Stage, American Conservatory Theater, Hartford Stage, Alliance Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Arena Stage, Old Globe Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Steppenwolf Theatre and many others. His international credits include Stratford Festival (Canada) and Royal Shakespeare Company (England) and many others. Audio drama work includes A Streetcar NamedDesire for Audible, and the award-winning weekly podcast for children The Imagination Neighborhood. Lindsay has received two Tony Award nominations, seven Joseph Jefferson Awards (24 nominations), two Ovation Awards (three nominations), an L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award and many others. JOEL GREENBERG (GUITARIST)

Joel is a Cincinnati native and performs regularly as a freelance guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. He fi rst performed at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park in 2011 and has enjoyed being a part of many shows since. Productions include Beehive: The 60s Musical; Always, Patsy Cline; Low Down Dirty Blues; Little Shop of Horrors; and Once on this Island. Joel attended the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music as a Jazz Studies major and loves to perform music across many genres. Joel has toured nationally and works with many regional groups and theatre companies. Outside of performing, Joel is a co-owner of the Cincinnati Music Academy where he and more than 40 independent instructors give music lessons.

RALPH HUNTLEY (PIANIST)

Ralph is pleased to be making his third appearance at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Based in Portland, Oregon, Ralph is a founding member of the nationally syndicated public radio show Live Wire, for which he served as music director from 2003 to 2015. He has performed and/or recorded with Bill Frisell, Esperanza Spalding, Ralph Carney (saxophonist for Tom Waits), Steve Berlin (of Los Lobos), Alejandro Escovedo, Peter Buck (of R.E.M.), Scott McCoughey (of R.E.M.), Willy Vlautin, Richmond Fontaine, 3Leg Torso and DoJump Physical Theater, which recently finished a New York run at the New Victory Theater.

TERRELL MONTGOMERY (BASSIST)

Terrell is an Atlanta-based musician who is eager to return to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. An Arkansas native, his musical roots are steeped in jazz, R&B, soul and the blues. BROOKE REDLER (STAGE MANAGER) Brooke is pleased to return for her sixth season with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Brooke also has worked in opera, with credits including Moscow, Cherry Town and Medea (PSM, Opera Long Beach); and Ariadne Auf Naxos, The Coronation of Poppea, Frida, Die Fledermaus and Tosca (ASM, Cincinnati Opera). She also spent two seasons at The Santa Fe Opera.

SUANN POLLOCK (SECOND STAGE MANAGER) In more than 22 years at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Suann has stage managed or assistant stage managed many productions. Her favorites include Destiny of Desire; Company; The History of Invulnerability; Three Sisters; This Wonderful Life; Love, Janis; A Christmas Carol; and Hiding Behind Comets. Regionally, she has served as stage manager at Music Theatre Wichita and Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati. Suann directed Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse and The Phantom Tollbooth for Playhouse’s Off the Hill series. Other directing credits include Pride and Prejudice; Rent; Urinetown; and Bat Boy, The Musical. Suann is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
