The world’s most acclaimed singer of Wagner’s music, bass-baritone James Morris stars as Hans Sachs in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg. Our production, designed by frequent Met regular Günther Schneider-Siemssen, will make its U.S. premiere in Cincinnati.

2. Why are there only three operas in 2010? For this coming season–our 90th Anniversary–we will depart from the regular schedule to present a lineup of three extraordinary productions. In addition, we are planning an Anniversary Gala Concert for Saturday, June 19. (Tickets for the concert will be sold separately from subscriptions.)

3. Where should I sit? For the best blend of Music Hall’s famous acoustics, you’ll love the Center Gallery. For the best visuals and leg-room, try the Front Orchestra. Best value? We recommend the Side Balcony.
