The ro ta ry sw itch should be sw itche d fro m LAMP to OFF.

Use of e nd m a r k If a m ark is placed at th e end o f th e film , when th e film passes th ro u g h th e a p e rtu re se ction (p ro je ctio n p o sitio n ), th is w ill a u to m a tic a lly s ta rt th e re w in d m o tio n . W ith o u t even to u c h in g th e m a ch in e , th e film w ill be rew ound on th e o rig in a l reel.


When th e p ro jectio n is fin is h e d , tu rn o ff th e sw itch once w hile th e re s till re m a in s a bo ut 3 — 4 rounds o f th e leader section on th e reel, apply th e film to an end m ark puncher, and make a c u t on th e o pp o site side of th e p e rfo ra te d holes. Then tu rn on th e sw itch again. If th e p ro jectio n is resum ed a fte r m aking th e c u t­ out, th e a u to m a tic re w in d in g device w ill be in o p e ra tio n a few seconds later. • There m u st be ju s t enough len g th, at least 5 0 c m (1 ' 7 % ") on th e leader p a rt so th a t it w ill not get de­ ta che d fro m th e reel u n til th e end m ark on th e film passes th ro u g h th e a p e rtu re section. In case of in s u ffic ie n c y , lengthen th e leader section.

3 R e w in d in g a f t e r reel has been c o m p l e t e l y w ound up Follow th e in s tru c tio n s below in case th e film has been e n tire ly w ound up on th e b u ilt-in reel. F irst, sw itch o ff, pull o u t th e reel c o m p a rtm e n t back cover, and place in fixed p ositio n by press­ ing down th e s u p p o rtin g m etal piece. Pull o u t th e film tip by tu rn in g th e reel fro n tw ise , and in s e rt in to th e supply reel a fte r p la cin g it on th e guide ro lle r as shown in th e p ictu re . W rap it around tw o to th re e tim e s.


WHEN FILM IS CUT

STANDARD

Turn to LAMP

Next, tu rn th e sw itch to LAMP, and im m e d ia te ly s ta rt re w in d in g th e film . • T h ere should be a su ffic ien t a m o u n t of film wrapped around the reel before th e rewind button is pressed, as the film will be sent back. When rew inding has been com pleted, return th e prop to its fo rm e r position and place th e back cover on. • If th e plug should com e loose or th e electric power should be cu t o ff during rewinding, the film on the takeup reel will becom e loose and rew inding ca n n o t be continued even a fte r the power is connected. In this case, open th e cover, and a fte r tu rn in g th e take-up reel in a windup direction to rem ove the sag, s ta rt rewinding again.

REPEAT PROJECTION

If, d u rin g a p ro je c tio n , you w a n t to see th e sam e scene over again, press th e rew ind b u tto n and allow th e re tu rn o f a p ro pe r len g th o f film . By re tu rn in g th e ro ta ry sw itch to LAMP, a fte r having tu rn e d it to OFF once, it w ill be possible to rep ea t th e p ro je ctio n .

USE OF ROOM LIGHT SINGLE 8 SUPER

Plug in a lam p stand cord in to th e so cket fo r room lig h t located in th e back o f th e m ach ine . T his w ill allow o p e ra tio n s to be ca rrie d o u t c o n ­ v e n ie n tly , a d d in g g re a tly to th e e n jo y m e n t o f hom e m ovies.
