Among a range of deliverables including a report on 3D ghosting, a guide to Premium Cinema Experiences, providing support and educational sessions on three continents, podcasts, video content and raising awareness of diversity and equality in cinema through our leading Women In Cinema series, CTC continued to educate with training courses aimed at ensuring movie-goers get the best possible experience.

In 2020, the CTC board is going all out with a plan to support the industry further sharing knowledge and expertise in key areas including the production workflow process, event cinema, accessibility, the customer journey, end of VPF technology upgrade pathways, 3D consumer insights, diversity in cinema and a long awaited new edition of CTCs leading Digital Projection Handbook. Our educational programme will also continue to grow with new advanced projection and DCP creation courses set to launch this year to complement our highly successful courses. Add if all of that wasn’t enough then add in to the mix our podcast which, due to its popularity is set to go bi-monthly, our ever increasing members-only web content and our continued support of trade events around the world along with our very own Cinema Technology Magazine and its clear that CTC has a busy year ahead. New governors To deliver on our vision, CTC has recently welcomed three new members to our team to help provide support and expertise with our deliverables. Saul Mahoney (Sundog Media Toolkit), Grainne Peat (Event Cinema Association) and Suhaila Mahmoud (Goldcrest Film International) join our highly talented cross industry experts. Continued thanks to our sponsors and members As a not-for-profit organisation, the CTC’s rapid growth and ambitious plan is only possible because of the support of our members and sponsors.
