THE NARRATIVE ENVIRONMENT Essential To the Story Telling Process.
Without the apartments “geography”, and its “rear window” with a commanding a view of the courtyard; there could be no story. The window itself, the wheelchair and camera equipment (flashing bulbs) are absolutely essential to delivering the climatic ending to the film. Few other films offer a set and props that play such an instrumental role in reinforcing the story telling narrative.
