What most interests you about hemp and hemp building, and why?

What is most interesting to me about hemp and hemp building is the potential for hemp building materials to substantially offset our national carbon footprint.

What was a win for your company in the past year?

In the past year we installed 8,000 cubic feet of hempcrete on 10 different projects across six states with our Ereasy spray application system, representing approximately 76 metric tons of carbon sequestered in the buildings we insulated.

What is something about hemp building/construction/processing you didn’t know a year ago?

That it is highly likely that we will be able to apply for carbon tax credits in the near future based on both the carbon sequestered by the crop as it grows and also for the offset of using a carbon sequestering building material instead of carbon intensive building materials.
