LUCIA BRAUBURGER
b.1965 Germany
Lives in Germany/Italy
“With my digital art, I dedicate myself to the representation of emphatically strong and self-confident women. In doing so, I consciously resort to stylistic devices of pop art, which transports the clichéd nature of reality. My ambition is that strong women become an established cliché—in a positive sense!”
Lucia Brauburger has always been driven by her thirst for personal growth and development. With notable experiences in Rome, Berlin, and New York, she perceives her life as a vibrant realm of exploration and experimentation. This multifaceted individual seamlessly embodies the roles of entrepreneur, book author, lecturer, and artist. Her artistic pursuits serve as an integral and complementary part of her identity and endeavors, reflecting her profound love for diversity.
On the other hand, her passion for digital art fuels her creativity. Under the name of Barbarella 3.0, Lucia combines the boundless possibilities of digital art with commercial photography. In this way, she creates modern images of an increasingly digital world that allows individual motifs to be edited and reproduced without limits.
Residing in both Mainz and Tuscany, Lucia Brauburger has garnered recognition through numerous national and international exhibitions. In 2020, she was awarded the prestigious Woman’s Essence Award 2020 by Musa International in Rome, solidifying her status as an accomplished artist.
