Il 2006 è stato un altro anno importante per la nostra azienda ed entrare ufficialmente nelle competizioni, con una presenza costante sui campi di gara internazionali, è stato un passo fondamentale per sviluppare la nostra linea di prodotti. Lavorare a fianco dei team principali significa avere uno scambio continuo di informazioni con i piloti: questo il nostro modo di operare. E’ solo così che riusciamo a concepire e progettare ogni singolo dettaglio prima di sviluppare il prodotto finale che dovrà essere quindi una sintesi di know-how e tecnologia. Crescere e migliorarsi è fondamentale per tutti noi di Ufo Plast che crediamo profondamente nella qualità, un valore che deve riversarsi in primo luogo sulla sicurezza dei nostri prodotti. Ridurre il rischio di infortuni e di abrasioni e conseguentemente elevare il grado di protezione, è il nostro target principale. Sport is our great inspiration. It is an inspiration that after twenty five years of activity and success in the field of off-roaders has given us the urge to carry on and move ahead, opening up for us the way to new sports disciplines. In 2003, Ufo Plast entered into the world of the bicycle and it has done so by investing in its experience in the two most challenging specialties in the field of racing – gravity and bmx. Everyone at Ufo Plast understands the importance of development and improvement and we firmly believe in quality, the result of which must above all be spent upon the safety of our products. Our main aim is to reduce the risk of injury and consequently increase the level of protection. For months a team of designers and draughtsmen elaborate 3D models, working on the lines and the design, improving the style and reducing the weight, thus increasing the ergonomic attributes and the wearability. Despite the slump that is affecting the world economy, a positive trend has been recorded for Ufo Plast in the field of bicycles and it is the final user who appreciates and chooses our products, not only for the quality but above all the safety which comes from experience gained in competitions, and from the feedback from great champions. When designing and making the Pro Ergo vest, the Ufo Plast designers made use of their knowledge of the human body’s ergonomics and examined case studies of motor cycle trauma at the Politecnico di Milano. The result is a product which is technically unique and innovative. Freedom of movement: especially ergonomic plastic, no limitation of movement. Performance: very little waste of energy, extremely light, made out of innovative materials. Safety: protection for all exposed parts of the body.
