How does your discipline view working in a comprehensive fashion across disciplines? Do they promote interdisciplinary training? Research? 3. How do professional organizations, writing, research etc. within your discipline view DIR? (How well do they know about it, discuss it, agree with it or endorse, oppose it?) How is your discipline represented within DIR? 1. Are you familiar with the DIR faculty within your discipline? 2. In the books and articles that you have read do you think your disciplinary perspective is adequately expressed? What is strong? What is missing? 3. How would you like to contribute? Your role using DIR 1. Do you see your work using DIR as aligned with your disciplinary training or is their conflict between trying to do DIR and your disciplinary values or goals? 2. In what ways does the DIR approach influence or perhaps change your way of working? 3. Do you feel you can always use a DIR approach or are their times when you cannot? When and why?
