What Is Prime Number What Is Prime Number We generally encounter many type of the numbers in the math for example the rational numbers, the irrational numbers, the whole numbers, the natural numbers, the integers and many more type of the numbers and similarly there are another type of the numbers in the math which are called the prime numbers so in this article we will discuss about what are prime numbers, we will list that what are prime numbers which come under 100, and we will also discuss that what are prime numbers role in the today math. So first of all we will start with answering the question of this article that what are prime numbers. The prime numbers are those natural numbers which are not divisible by any of the positive numbers except the number one and the number itself. Now we will give some examples to disclose about what are prime numbers which come under 100 and they given as follows starting with 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89 and 97.

These prime numbers which are listed in the previous line are only divisible by one and the numbers itself. For example take the number 7; it is not divisible by any of the numbers except 1 and 7 itself. It should be noticed that the natural numbers which are more than one and do not come under the category of the prime numbers come under the category of another type of the numbers which are said to be the composite. For example 8 is a natural number which comes under the category of the numbers which are composite because it is not only divisible by the numbers 1 and 8 itself but is also divisible by the numbers 2 and 4 and thus it is not a prime number. It should be remembered here that 1 is neither a prime number nor it is a composite number. So we have now discussed about what are prime numbers, about what are prime numbers which come under 100 and also about what are prime numbers opposite that is we have also discussed about the numbers which are composite in the last paragraph. Hence in this paragraph we will discuss about what are prime numbers different forms in which they exist that is what are prime numbers different types. We will start with discussing about what are prime numbers which are called additive prime numbers. The prime numbers in which the addition of their digits further give a prime number are called the prime numbers which are additive.

Those prime numbers to which if we add 2 give either a prime number or any semi prime are called the prime numbers which are chen.
