Welcome to the latest edition of The Circuit, the magazine for the close protection professional.

With the worldwide pandemic easing up somewhat, and the world beginning to open back up, this has lead to increased opportunities for protectors around the globe. My hope is that everyone has used their forced downtime (to whatever degree that was) to prepare, coming out on the other side stronger, more marketable and better equipped.

Education and information are two things that no one can take from you, — not even a global pandemic. While we have had over a year of travel restrictions, social distancing, and new “norms,” that are anything but normal, the ability to learn can happen at any time regardless of proximity or geography. The virtual world, be it E-books or online classes, puts training at your fingertips, And has actually removed some of the cost barriers they may previously have held some back.

We like to think that The Circuit has also played a small part in providing a consistent stream of news, information, and resources that are “pandemic proof.” From updates on the latest topics of interest in the cyber security realm, to discussions about vehicle dynamics & security drivers, we try and make sure that information is accessible to whoever wants it, whenever they want it.

To do this we produce the the magazine, The Circuit Podcast, and even a newsletter the highlights some of our favorite articles. What we would ask from you is if you enjoy our efforts, help us spread the word by telling others in the industry so they can also take a look.

The summer’s here, restrictions are easing, and our goal is to continue to deliver a quality product that benefits the industry. Thanks for joining us on our journey.
