Our special thanks to the wonderful grape growers in the Columbia River Valley and Dalles region of Oregon and Washington State. Their delicious fruit is what makes these fantastic wines possible in the first place. They are then hand crafted and aged by our winemaker Dean Long. Nantucket Vineyard has been family owned and operated since 1981 by island residents Dean and Melissa Long. Some 3,000 cases of wine are produced each year. Just 2.5 miles from town, Nantucket Vineyards enjoys a bucolic setting just next to Bartlett's Farm, amidst gently rolling fields and windswept pines.
Pinot Gris
Elevated in stainless steel, the nose shows hints of white peach and apple, while the palate flavor is more pear-like. Made from very ripe grapes from Washington State, this wine has a lovely fruitiness with just a hint of residual sugar. (6-81602-50750-2)

Made from grapes grown in the Columbia River Valley, this wine is aged in 80% new French oak barrels and 20% American and Hungarian oak. Subtle aromas of red apple and some vanilla precede a smooth, dry and clean palate – integrating both the oak influence and the grape flavor. A lovely Chardonnay, elegant and refreshing. A clean nose of plum and cherry, with some toast from the oak. The palate is smooth, rather polished in its flavor expression – again showing plum – and somewhat tight. Delicious right now and should improve nicely with age. (6-81602-10750-4)
A blend of Syrah, Merlot and Viognier – modeled after the great northern Rhone wines of France – this has spicy, berry infused aromas and flavors. Some red licorice, too. The new oak is just getting integrated. A rather big wine, but pleasurable, too. (6-81602-40750-5)
This dark red wine is made from grapes grown in Washington State. It has strong pepper and licorice flavors, rather rich and full-bodied, with hints of raspberry jam. This syrah has some austerity on the finish, and is very promising. (6-81602-11750-3)
