Located by the Wilder Athletic Fields along Wilder Fields Lane. Fresh stories every few months.
The Friends of the Orinda Library is a non-profit volunteer organization who helps raise funds to enrich library collections and help the library respond to patrons’ needs. Friends also sponsor children, teen and adult library programs throughout the year.

Orinda Parks and Rec will continue our utilization of ePACT Network, a health and safety software to better support our members and make it easier to submit critical data securely! This digital solution allows you to quickly share the health and emergency information we need, and also provides us with powerful communication tools to ensure we have a way to message you in the event of an illness, injury, or larger scale emergency.
Why are we using ePACT?
1. To save you time—With ePACT, you only need to complete your child’s information once and update it as needed.
2. Check-in/out will be more efficient with an electronic, contactless process!
3. For better security & privacy—ePACT’s high encryption levels and commitment to security means your data on ePACT is safer than on paper.

Orinda Parks and Rec is committed to meeting the needs of our community by providing accessible opportunities for everyone. This begins with helping community members plan their schedules effectively. To handle withdrawal requests fairly and reduce disruptions, we have implemented the following policies based on the timing of these requests. We advise community members to carefully review their schedules in advance to avoid overbooking, as last-minute changes or refund requests can lead to a series of unfavorable outcomes.
Any refund request that is submitted less than two months prior to the summer camp season starting is subject to a Camp Refund Fee of 3%-7% of registration fees (depending on timing), PLUS a processing fee of $5 for credit cards or $20 for checks, per transaction. Refund requests less than five days prior to the start of the camp will not be provided (unless approved by Recreation Staff). Refunds will not be provided after the camp has begun. The amount of funds withheld from any summer camp refund will be determined by the date the withdrawal request is received. Please note the timeline below for specific details on how refund amounts will be calculated and the applicable fees included.
• March 3–March 31: 100% refund of camp registration amount, minus $5 credit card fee (or $20 if paid with check ) per original transaction
• April 1–April 30: 97% refund, minus $5 credit card fee (or $20 if paid with check) per original transaction
