Fridays, October 8-29, 9:30-10:45 a.m. Age: 18-35 months with adult Read, write, sing, talk and play with your child and other families with toddlers while you ask professionals about early literacy, speech development, nutrition, physical development and behavior. There will be a different professional each week during this 4-week program.
Experience Dyslexia with Refuge Reads Saturday, October 16, 10-11:30 a.m. Come explore what it is like to be dyslexic through several interactive simulations to give you a glimpse of what your child may be experiencing. Register on B-REx.com.

Sign-up begins at 3:45 p.m. at Children’s Desk Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade can build confidence and fluency in their abilities by reading aloud to trained therapy dogs. Bring your own book or choose a library book and our dog friends will listen without correcting or judging.
Sign in at the start of the program Explore science, technology, engineering, art and math in STEAM Club! Expect fun, hands on activities, LEGOs, crafts and more plus lots of STEAM related books! No registration.
Junior Book Club Age: 4th and 5th grade Wednesday, October 20 4 - 5 p.m. Register & pick up your book at the Children’s Desk up to one month in advance. Do you love to read? Meet with other kids to talk about a different book each month, enjoy snacks and have fun! October’s Title Just My Luck by Cammie McGovern Fourth grade is not going at all how Benny Barrows hoped. He hasn't found a new best friend... And worst of all, he worries his dad's recent accident might be all his fault. Benny tries to take his mom's advice and focus on helping others, and to take things one step at a time. But when his dad ends up in the hospital again, Benny doesn't know how he and his family will overcome all the bad luck that life seems to have thrown their way.
Art Stop on the Go Age: 6 - 12 Monthly on 2nd Saturday: Saturday, October 9 10 - 11 a.m. Sign in at the start of the program Art-making workshops for kids from the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. On the second Saturday of the month, kids will learn about the artist and artwork on display at the museum and listen to a children's book to inspire their own art project. No registration.
