Programs are free and there is no registration unless otherwise stated. Space may be limited for some programs.

PROGRAMS FOR AGES 0-5

Storytimes

9:30-10:10 and 10:30-11:10 a.m. in Eisenhower Room

Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and activities together.

Play & Learn for Babies and Toddlers

Fridays, July 7-28, 10-11 a.m. in Eisenhower Room

Ages: 0-3 with adult

Meet, mingle and play together while learning helpful tips about early childhood development from community professionals.

Baby & Toddler Play Time

3rd Saturdays: 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Story Room

Ages: 0-3 years with adult (siblings welcome)

Mingle and play to build community, friendship and support.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Summer Concert: Okee Dokee Brothers and Sonia De Los Santos

Wednesday, July 26, 7-8:30 p.m. at Midway Park

All ages (Ages 12 and under with adult)

Celebrate the final concert and the end of Summer Library

Aventures with Grammy award winning and five-time Parent’s Choice Award winners, Okee Dokee Brothers featuring Mexican songstress, Sonia De Los Santos. This bilingual program includes songs that span the musical traditions of North America in joyful collaboration and friendship. Play and dance along with family activities during the concert.

PROGRAMS FOR AGES 5-10

Beginning Readers Book Club

Wednesdays, June 7 through July 26: 10-11 a.m.

Ages: Students entering 2nd and 3rd Grade

This program is designed for struggling readers going into 2nd and 3rd Grade. Grow confidence in your reading skills this summer by engaging in group activities with a new book each week. Participants will take home a free copy of the book.

Stay & Play at the Library

Saturday, July 8, 1-3 p.m.

Ages: 5-10 years

Create, build, play and make new friends! The library will provide the supplies while you bring the creativity.

Dungeons & Dragons Community Group

Saturday, July 8 and 22, 1-4 p.m.

Ages: 10+ (multigenerational)

Ignite your problem-solving skills and stretch your imagination while socializing with others who enjoy role-playing games.

Family Learn and Grow at Brunner Farmhouse

3rd Saturdays: July 15 and Aug. 19, 9-10:30 a.m.

Ages: 2nd - 5th Grade

Explore activities all about growing food and getting your hands dirty! Presented by CSU Extension.

Bubble Lab

Saturday, July 1, 10-10:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m-12 p.m.

Ages: 6-11

Young scientists will have a sudsy good time learning about bubbles and their amazing properties. Work in teams to mix and measure and develop your own formula for bubble solution. Presented by the Children’s Museum of Denver Marisco Campus.

Spanish, Art, Music in Motion

Saturday, July 29, 10-11:30 a.m.

Ages: 6-10

With play and curiosity, explore music through the joy of movement and integrate learning Spanish through the expression of art. Presented by Integral Steps.
