Everyone is welcome. The library is a community space with free resources and opportunities to learn and play.

Programs are free and there is no registration unless otherwise stated. Space may be limited for some programs.

REGULAR PROGRAMS

PROGRAMS FOR AGES 0-5

3rd Saturdays: 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Story Room

Ages: 0-3 years with adult (siblings welcome) friendship

The library will be closed on Friday, August 18 for staff training.

PROGRAMS FOR AGES 5-12

Dungeons & Dragons Community Group

Saturday, Aug. 5 and 19, 1-4 p.m. (twice monthly)

Ages: 10+ (multigenerational)

Ignite your problem-solving skills and stretch your imagination while socializing with others who enjoy role-playing games.

Family Learn and Grow at Brunner Farmhouse

Saturday, Aug. 19, 9-10:30 a.m.

Ages: 2nd - 5th Grade

Explore activities all about growing food and getting your hands dirty at the Teaching Garden! Presented by CSU Extension.

Looking for a fun and sustainable way to update your Halloween costume this year? Bring in your gently used costumes and accessories, and trade them in for something new (to you). Costumes will be available for all ages so everyone can enjoy the fun.

Read to a Dog

Every Thursday, Sept. 7 through Dec. 14: 3:45-5 p.m.

Ages: Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Read to a therapy dog to practice your reading skills!

Stay & Play with LEGOs

1st Saturdays, Sept. 2 through Dec. 2: 1-3 pm.

Ages: 5-10

Open play time with lots of LEGOs!

Elementary Explorers: Titanic Shuffleboard

Saturday, Sept. 9, 10-11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 pm.

Ages: Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Travel along with the ship Titanic to learn its fateful history through a fun and interactive game - shuffleboard!

Presented by Historic Denver’s Molly Brown House Museum.

Cooking & Culture for Kids

Wednesday, Sept. 13, 4-5 p.m.

Ages: 6-10

Get mixing! Explore the world through food with new recipes, fun and friends. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

4th & 5th Grade Book Club

3rd Wednesdays through May: Sept. 20, 4-5 p.m.
