Whether you’re considering a job as a lifeguard, pool manager, or planning on getting a family pool pass, the Falls as something for everyone! A couple of friendly reminders before planning your trip to the Falls this summer: 1. Staff works long hours and some are still learning and mastering the skills of the job. Please be kind and respectful to all staff working while visiting the Falls. 2. The Falls has a zero-tolerance for violence, profanity, and any other unruly behavior.

If guests are removed from the facility, a removal can last up to seven or more days. 3. Families of four or more qualify for a season pass. A family of four season pass pays for itself with only six visits to the Falls! 4. The Falls encourages a family-friendly environment for all guests. Did you know visitors from as far as Iowa City come to enjoy The Falls? Help represent Cedar Falls in a positive way by pitching in to provide a positive experience for everyone. 5. Have fun!

2022 pool passes go on sale in early May at the Cedar Falls Recreation and Fitness Center.

Operations:

The Falls anticipates operating business as usual as it relates to COVID-19. The pool will open on May 28. The summer season will run until August 21—weather, crowd, and staff permitting.

The Cedar Falls Recreation Division is hiring aquatic staff for the 2022 summer season. Expected employment is May 22–August 22 with additional pre- and post-season hours available. Positions vary and hourly wages range from $11.10–12.75/hour based on position, qualifications, and experience. Apply today!
