Welcome Platform; a venue, a hive of creativity, a company of performers and technicians, a hub for learning and skills development, but most importantly a ‘Platform’ for creative and aspiring young artists, eager to embrace the world of performing arts. Platform launched its new name in 2012. Through accredited courses the company aims to embrace vocationalism and
offers a realistic working environment to emerging performing arts practitioners. The Platform Company produces and tours work in a range of performance mediums including; music, dance, plays, musicals, site specific performances and outreach work. The company’s creative ethos explores and adapts existing works as well as devising exciting and original performances.

20TH & 21ST MARCH – 7.30PM BTEC L3 Extended Diploma in Acting In September the L3 actors were commissioned by FUTURE radio to create plays dealing with the issues facing young people looking for employment, these plays are the culmination of this work. The Yr2 actors have been developing comedy performances using 16th century mask theatre techniques including physicality, slapstick and mime, with hilarious results.
