Engineering:
Construction on Track Construction work on the 2.2 million square feet mall complex is well under way with completion of the construction works on target for 2018 Procurement: The first batch of structural steel for the Hypermarket area has been fabricated and delivered to site in readiness for installation. The structural steelwork for the new sky lights to Pavilions 1, 2 and 6 are currently undergoing final design reviews and will be submitted for DM approval next month. All other areas of structural steelwork are currently undergoing the final approvals and fabrication process.
Structures and Civil: Foundation and rebar works continue across all areas of the site. Concrete pouring for SE1, SE2 and SE3 lobby areas, SE1, SE2, substation buildings, P3 , P4 , Hypermarket Lobby and four sump pits have been completed. The extensions to VOX Cinema, Fabyland and P6 foundation excavations and blinding works are progressing well and the extensions to Central Vault, Secondary Entrances, Pavilions 3&4 are being currently being reinforced in readiness for the structural concrete pour.
