2011 Fall Softball
General Information Programs are available to girls ages 5 - 14. The fall program will be located at Veterans Park and Warrior Park, and will include traveling to outlying areas such as Calera, Montevallo, Columbiana, Helena, etc. (subject to change). Registration Dates: August 15 – August 26 (weekdays only) at the Depot (Parks & Rec. office) 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Registration Fee: $80.00 (10% additional fee for non-residents) No Checks Accepted Please pay with Cash, Debit, Visa, or Master Card IMPORTANT: NO Refunds will be issued. Fee Includes: T-shirt, Shorts, and Socks Additional items you will need: Baseball/Softball Cleats Glove Optional: Helmet – each team will be provided 3 or 4 helmets. Bat – we don’t provide these; however, there’s usually a teammate with a bat. Practice & Season: Season start date to be announced. Practices will probably begin the week of September 12. There will be two practices per week for the first two weeks. Once games start, there will be one practice and one game per week (subject to change). The program lasts approximately seven weeks, and will run through the end of October. Game and practice days and times could vary as this is up to the coach. Program Purpose: Fall Ball is an instructional league, and is more laid back than the Spring league.
Softball Divisions are listed below by age group. The player’s age as of January 1, 2012 determines the placement of the player into the age division.
