ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS Any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge to perform the job. Prepares and serves group meals and home-delivered meals for seniors in the Senior Meal Program on a regular schedule; maintains kitchen and meal site inventory; maintains a safe, sanitary kitchen; immediately reports concerns and problems to the Supervisor who provides a formal evaluation once annually. Individual receive general direction from department supervisor and is expected to exercise some independent judgment within the scope of their assigned duties. Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects, walk, stand for long periods, squat or kneel, work with hands and perform strenuous physical labor. Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written/oral instructions. MUST maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and public. Must have a VALID state driver’s license at time of application.
