MN Masonic Heritage Center and “Sounds of the Seventies” Concert

Tuesday, September 13, 9:45am-4pm, $86

Begin the day with a guided tour of the MN Masonic Heritage Center in Bloomington. There will be time to explore the exhibits and learn about the rich history before enjoying a delicious luncheon of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetables, a dinner roll, salad, dessert, coffee, and hot tea. Special dietary meals available by advanced request at time of registration. Next, get ready for some catchy guitar licks and luxuriant harmonies as you take a trip down memory lane of rock and roll, with the sounds of the seventies. Some of the featured music includes Fleetwood Mac, America, the Eagles, Neil Young, Linda Ronstadt, the Doobie Brothers, and more! Price includes admission, lunch, concert, and transportation. Registration deadline is August 29, no refunds thereafter.

Fall Color Train Ride, Osceola, MN

Friday, October 7, 9:45am-3:15pm, $82

Enjoy a scenic 90-minute train ride through the beautiful St. Croix Valley. Included on your train ride is a box lunch with a turkey croissant, chips, potato salad, and a cookie (vegetarian option available upon request at time of registration). A non-alcoholic beverage is also included. At 12:30PM you will have a bit of time to explore Osceola, do some shopping, grab a coffee, or just stroll through the quaint town. Hurry, space is limited for this trip. Price includes transportation and lunch. Registration deadline is September 23, no refunds thereafter. Some of the trains may be cooler than others, so dress accordingly.

Fall Festival at Canterbury Park

Thursday, November 10, 9:30am-4:15pm, $53

Do you like to shop? Then this is the trip for you! Voted one of the top 100 shows in the country by Sunshine Artist Magazine, this show is brimming with row after row of handcrafted, one-of-a-kind home décor and gifts. Register for an hourly $30 gift certificate drawing and enjoy plenty of food and drink. Programs and maps will be available at the event. Trip includes transportation and the entry fee. Food and drink are on your own. Shopping at Canterbury will be from 11AM-3PM. Register by November 1, no refunds thereafter.

An Andy & Bing Christmas Paramount Center for the Arts St. Cloud, MN

If you love Christmas music, this show is sure to delight you. Delivered in a beautiful and remarkable way, enjoy the songs It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, White Christmas, Christmas in Killarney, It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, and many more. Lead vocals are handled by former U of MN Gopher and Super Bowl Champion, Ben Utecht, and Minnesota Hall of Fame and Midwest Music Hall of Fame inductee, Mick Sterling. This concert faithfully celebrates and recreates the perfect Christmas albums of Andy Williams and Bing Crosby with a one-of-a-kind 19-piece band that features the vocal talents of Cate Fierro, Sara Renner, Shalo Lee, and Lisi Wright along with a precise rhythm section.
