MAY 6 CITY COUNCIL ELECTION RESULTS
December One incumbent and three newcomers were elected during the May 6 local city council election. The elected officials will serve the Burleson community for the next three years
Incumbent Chris Fletcher received 54 percent of the total vote to win the mayoral seat outright, beating Ronnie Johnson, who vacated council Place 6 to run. This will be Mayor Fletcher's second term as mayor.
In Place 2, Phil Anderson received 74 percent of the total vote, beating Jake Wernette. Place 2 incumbent Rick Green choose not to run for re-election
In Place 4, Larry Scott, the sole challenger for this seat, received 100 percent of the vote. Tamara Payne, who occupied Place 4, also did not seek re-election.
In Place 6, Adam Russell ran unopposed and received 100 percent of the vote. Ronnie Johnson selected to vacate Place 6 to run for the Mayor's seat.

311 is a simple three-digit number residents, business owners, and visitors can call to get information, request services, and report issues. From library hours to reporting graffiti or overgrown grass, 311 is ready to help. The new 311 system will streamline processes to improve response times, limit phone transfers, and reduce nonemergency calls to 911.

Besides calling 311, residents can download a mobile app available in the App Store or Google Play by searching BTX311 or go online to www.burlesontx.com/btx311.
CITY LAUNCHES KPI SITE
The city has launch a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) website. This new webpage outlines more than 70 performance metrics spanning every major department/division in the city, giving a detailed and transparent view of key performance metrics aligned directly with city council key focus areas mapped out in the city’s strategic plan. As transparency and accountability are chief elements of the city’s strategic plan, this new site will give citizens a better understanding of how the city operates and the results that are being achieved. Each metric is linked dynamically to backend data and explains why the metric is important and how it is being calculated.

When will it be used?
This system will be used to notify you about imminent threats to health and safety, as well as informational notifications that affect your locations or work environments. Administrators will send notifications regarding severe weather, water main breaks, boil water alerts, and mosquito control.

The system is only as good as the information you provide. If your contact information changes, you can always visit your profile and update your information.
