Coding & Mini-Robotics with Micro:Bit Camp (9-11 YRS)

This curriculum involves using mini-robotics kits which are designed to develop and improve: Critical thinking, Creativity and Imagination, Engineering skills, and Decision making. We will be including coding into the curriculum and several unplugged exercises to further strengthen their logical and analytical thinking. A significant chunk of the curriculum time will be devoted to journeying with the Micro:Bit, taking them from their first use of a block programming language to writing and evaluating algorithms, becoming a confident coder, and beyond! Material fees of $45 will cover the cost of the Micro:Bit kits and related components which kids can take back after the camp.

Robotics with DASH Camp (6-7 YRS)

Students use block-based coding to control their DASH robots. Kids can watch their virtual coding turn into tangible learning experiences in real-time as Dash, with its performance and multiple sensors, interacts with and responds to its surroundings. The durable and child friendly robots are a safe and easy way to encourage STEAM learning. Maker materials, such as lego, tape, cardboard and other accessories can be added to transform your robots! The goal of the camps is to spark creativity with kids inspiring them to dream up new adventures.

Design with TinkerCAD & 3D Printing Camp (8-11 YRS)

This camp focuses on teaching the foundational concepts of design, 3D Design, and getting them familiar with software they will use to build their models. We will be exploring the basic foundational concepts of 3D printing using a software called TinkerCAD ‚ a kidfriendly online computer-aided design (CAD) program where users can design, modify, and print 3D objects.

Coding & Mini-Robotics with Arduino Camp (13-14 YRS)

This curriculum involves using mini-robotics kits either Arduino, which are designed to develop and improve: Critical thinking, Creativity and Imagination, Engineering skills, and Decision making. We will be working with the robotics kit, and combining it with coding languages. The Arduino is a tiny and affordable computer that you can use to learn programming through fun, practical projects. The projects would range from simple games and device controllers to complex IoT (Internet of Things) projects. There is a material fee of $20 to cover the electronic consumables used during the course.

Design and Build your own Website Camp (12-14 YRS)

This is a program which involves using Design concepts to help design your own website. A website can be considered a modern gateway for your kid to express their ideas, their creativity and their voice to the entire world. We will be introducing online imageediting software to the kids, walking them through basic UI/UX design principles and working through a drag and drop interface to design a static website. This is a purely design oriented course, with no coding involved.
