Easter is one of the most festive events among Christians worldwide. Join us for a luncheon and entertainment to celebrate the occasion. Menu: ham, scalloped potatoes, steamed vegetables and dessert.

8 Poirier Easter Celebration
Bring your family and join us for a fun-filled Easter celebration at Poirier Community Centre. Take part in games, crafts and an Easter egg hunt. Snacks and refreshments will be available. Please register each family member attending.
14 Carpet-Bowling Tournament 2023
The Glen Pine Carpet-Bowling group hosts the 11th Annual Tournament on Friday, April 14 . Catch some action in the Great Room as 8 teams play-off to win the coveted trophy! Spectators are welcome to cheer the teams. Tournament begins at 9:15 a.m. Awards presented at the end of the tournament.

5 Glen Pine Live: Cinco de Mayo Fiesta
Cinco de Mayo is a yearly celebration commemorates a battle fought in Mexico 150 years ago, an unexpected victory for the Mexican army over the French forces on May 5, 1862 and has since evolved to celebrate Mexican heritage and culture. Authentic live entertainment.

6 Breakfast Celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III
The coronation of Charles III will take place on Saturday, May 6 2023. His Majesty was appointed King on September 10, 2022. This is the first time a coronation ceremony will take place on a weekend since 1902 when Edward VI was crowned King. Join us for a special British breakfast to mark this historic event. Menu: Glen Pine Big Breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon and hashbrown.

12 Mother’s Day High Tea
Come and honour Mother’s Day with a traditional afternoon tea. Wear your fanciest hat or fascinator and bring your favourite tea cup and saucer. Enjoy some entertainment while you snack on finger sandwiches, dainty desserts, coffee and tea.

18 Victoria Day Luncheon
After the death of Queen Victoria in 1901, an Act was passed by the Parliament of Canada establishing a legal holiday on Queen Victoria’s birthday under the name Victoria Day. 4 Meeting of the Melodies
Choirs and Ukulele groups from the tri-city come together to highlight seniors groups in the area. The Lemon Tree Café will be open to purchase food and beverages. Families and friends welcome.
9 Dogwood Live Spring Dinner with The Driftsmen
Come enjoy a spring-themed evening with drinks, dinner, and live performance by The Driftsmen. Menu: To be advised, Coffee/Tea and Dessert. Doors open at 5:15 p.m.. Dinner begins at 6 p.m.. Entertainment begins at 7:15 p.m..
10 Spring Fashion Show
An afternoon fashion show featuring style, colour and accessories from members of the community. Tea, coffee, refreshments will be served with entertainment. The theme of this special event is Love.
13 Paint and Pasta Night
A fun acrylic painting night for the artist in you. You will leave with a completed canvas that you may use to decorate your home or gift with love. Meal will be served during the first hour of the program followed by a two-hour painting session. No experience necessary and all supplies provided.
29 BBQ Luncheon: Canada Day
Join us for a special BBQ celebrating Canada with entertainment. Wear Red and/or White to celebrate Canada. Event is outside if weather permits in Spirit Square. Menu: Salmon Burger, Salad and Vegetables with a Canadian Dessert.
