Meetings feature guest speakers, discussions and social events. September – June Fridays Wednesdays A fitness and social program for people experiencing early stage memory loss and a friend, family member or caregiver. Work with certified fitness instructors for one hour. A facilitator will assist with activities for the second hour. This is a registered program. Information on provincial services such as Seniors Supplement financial benefits and rental subsidies for low income seniors.

Tri-Cities Better at Home

A program designed to help seniors remain independent at home. Helps seniors with simple day to day tasks, which allows them to maintain their independence and stay connec ted to the community. Program offers light housekeeping, transport to doctor’s appointments and grocery shopping. Sponsored by SHARE Family and Community Services, United Way and the Government of BC.

Meetings vary and may feature a guest speaker, discussions, social or fitness activities. $1.00 drop-in fee. September – June. No meetings Dec/July/August. (Women Helping Others) group provides a supportive atmosphere for widows, divorcees, singles and women whose partners are in permanent care.
