Join Our Team!

Applications must be received one week prior to the start of Lifeguard Academy. Candidates who pass the interview will be invited to attend Lifeguard Academy. To qualify, students must:

► Be 15 years of age by first day of class. ► Swim 300 yards continuously using a combination of both freestyle and breaststroke. ► Tread water for two minutes using only the legs. ► Complete a timed 10 lb brick removal from deep water within 1:40 minutes. ► Participants must complete required online learning components prior to the first class. Attendance is required at all classes.
