Coding and Mini Robotics

This curriculum involves using mini-robotics kits which are designed to develop and improve critical thinking, creativity, imagination, engineering skills, and decision making. A significant chunk of the curriculum time will be devoted to journeying with the micro:bit, taking you from your first use of a block programming language to writing and evaluating algorithms, becoming a confident coder, and beyond! Material fees of $45 will cover the cost of the Micro:bit kits and related components which kids can take back after the camp.

Your child will work on teamwork, passing, shooting, dribbling, rebounding, and responsibility. They will work on their game and model good sportsmanship making for an unforgettable experience for your young athlete.

Multi-Sport Camps 7-15Y

Your child will work on forehand, backhand, and tennis serving drills. The more experienced player will work on rallying drills and match play. In table tennis they will learn the basic serve, forehand and backhand techniques, topspin, and backspin for more offensive and defensive play. In badminton students will practice the basic serve, overhead, net play, and footwork drills. No camp on 7/4.

Your child will be challenged with faster paced drills, matches, and games designed to improve their skills. Athletes will use ball machines and personal backboards to jump start their game to the next level. No camp 7/4.

Come and enjoy a fun filled morning with clay, painting, mixed media, and plenty of activities to keep your camper busy. We will be exploring various weekly themes throughout the summer, culminating in a gallery show put on by your favorite little artists. Themes include: works by Matisse, Chihuly, Picasso, Fuzzy Forest Creatures, art in Cephalopods, and Things That Fly in the Night.
