In the morning, Campers will take part in friendly competitions, as they make a robotic hockey players, drill machines, joystick, go karts, etc using robotics kits, learning about gears, sensors, and coding. Later, in the afternoon, Campers will learn about various aspects of science while participating in projects based on space, chemistry, animals, earth science, and even sports! You will use block-based coding to control your DASH robots. You will watch your coding turn into tangible learning experiences in real-time as Dash, with its performance and multiple sensors, interacts with and responds to its surroundings. Can you attend just a morning or just an afternoon camp? Yes, the Mix and Match option is available for those who want a full-day, but you may register for just morning or just afternoon.

A unique program for young engineers to introduce them to LEGO® Robotics. Students will learn the basics of scratch programming through a drag and drop icon based program, and will program their models through their own code and explore a series of cross curricular activities such as music and animal sound creations, using LEGO® Education's premier WeDo® LEGO® robotics.

Build your World in Minecraft

1-3 Grade

Kids love to build the world they see around them. This course facilitates this by teaching you to navigate the world of Minecraft and make your own little world. You will explore Minecraft, a blocky 3D world, discover and extract raw materials, craft tools, and build structures or earthworks. This is a beginner level course for young kids who haven’t played on Minecraft before or just have started playing with it.

Computational Thinking and Design 3-5 Grade with Minecraft

Minecraft is the perfect avenue to explore the basics of design, engineering & computational thinking and work on problem-solving skills while developing out-of-the-world virtual environments. In this course, we harvest the love kids have for constructing worlds in Minecraft to teach computational thinking skills and help bring a STEAM curriculum alive while designing buildings, models, operational/automated devices, and completing challenges that incorporate logical and analytical thinking.
